Dear! Your analysis is on point! Do wish the Nigeria football association will be able to come up with a locally groomed team like South Africa! To me! As I watched the game from Miamisburg, Ohio in bits via hopping to scant from UTube to Facebook, it was the most tensed match I followed/watched! My brother, keep it up! Super Eagles! You'll face Bafana Bafana in June! Super Falcons! Do your best to beat Cameroun this month, as you'll likely face Bayana Bayana! This AFCON is the most competitive I have ever experienced!

I knew Bafana Bafana will be problematic for us for the simple reason that they are for me the best technically gifted team in the tournament. Don't let anyone deceive you, the South African team is a solid team. When we played other countries I wasn't bothered, but after seeing Bafana Bafana against Mali and Morrocco, other equally technically gifted teams, I was bothered although I still believed we will scale them. Yes our Ekong is a Colossus in our defence, but your guy Mvala is a rock too. Just as I suspected y'all gave us our toughest match. There's absolutely nothing to be ashamed of losing this semi finals. Bafana Bafana played so well. I love your unbiased analysis. I promise you It's just a matter of time, your team will win something. From a Nigerian.......... My respect for the Bafana Bafana. They gave us a heck of a match. It was a well contested match. Nigeria played safe to avoid conceding a single goal by not going on the attack against South Africa knowing that we will win if we score first or if they don’t score against us. That manufactured VAR penalty was a joy killer. Nigeria has better players on the bench not allowed to play for this reason, to control the team to play as the coach wanted. In the next game against SA it would be a different game that we will dominate and score at least 2 to 3 goals. You can wait for it, it would be worth the wait for Nigeria. That said, South Africa played an amazing game like the opponents from hell who were determined to beat Nigeria and could have after they equalised if they had quality players. That is the difference between playing at home and abroad. Nigeria will always have that edge ahead of SA. It’s why you may never beat us.

SA beat Morocco. I went back to watch the highlight and The Moroccans couldn't stop the passing prowesses of the SA players. The completely drained the energies of those Moroccan players. Nigeria put everything out there and few factors stood out. Experience, strengths and most importantly tactics (the "flavor of professionalism). At the end of the day, SA played their hearts out however I knew that Nigeria would edge them out

I am a Nigerian but I blame south Africa technical team for the lost. When the body language of SA players is showing preference to Penalty, the technical team should have call them to order. Even SA the coach was confident that of winning penalty against Nigeria. Osihmen was a night mare but the focus on him was too much. What will happen if Nigeria play the like of Victor Boniface of and Victor Osihmen together. They need to learn some mistake here.

The key to field local players is no more than 3 local teams mixed (6-10 players from a single team) -so there is a cohort that have played with each other 20-30 games already. That was the difference we saw with BB, if you cobble together 25 players from 24 local teams it will be a disaster.
