Yo Vesp do you know the demonic circle trick? If you get rooted or snared just drop your circle and use it it will remove all roots and snares

Clearly, affli was the spec I was looking forward to play but there's almost only video on destro ... (which still feels a bit too plain to play imo). It feels great to see that the spec is probably not gonna be D-tier in MM (even though the 2 other specs seems to still be a bit better for dungeons). I kinda disagree when it comes to "sick aesthetics" tho, compared to the 2 others specs, affli hasn't received aesthetics as cool as them (mainly because of diabolist hero talents), and when you compare it to shadow priest which is the closest class in terms of "mage using shadow magic" vibe, I find priest's kit to be cooler (especially with new hero talents) but even without, i found out that they really channel "dark magic energy" while malefic rupture is kinda "meh" when it comes to aesthetic (compared to void torrent, halo, ...)

Wish they would change malefic grasp back to the channeling ability that was in mop. Affliction has been messed up ever since legion and doesn’t matter if they do the biggest damage the core gameplay has been clunky for years. Miss being able to throw dots up quickly then using cds into a channel or either malefic grasp or drain soul

It's always back in the beta and then in retail its a spec noone plays except some weirdos Because the other two outperform it in every situation. And I say this even when affli was always my favourite lock spec.

The thumbnail doesn't fit. Dark Glare is the single talent that's definitely not the reason why Aff is finally viable again. Dark Glare is in fact THE WORST CD Blizzard has EVER created. It doesn't even fit Aff aesthetically at all... they should remove it and give us something actually relevant and fitting. Like Reap Souls.

Affliction dots should spread like DK diseases and refresh when something in the pack dies like a corpse explosion type deal.

Soul shards seem way too slow to recover. What's the point of having a big bursty Malefic Rupture when you cannot get shards to spam it? I saw your video from the start, you never got a point of having 5 shards. You were constantly starved of shards, meaning when you got 1 you immidiately consumed it. Most of time you spammed shadowbolt praying for a shard refund. Damage is always subjective but playstyle looks very shard dependant. Such a pitty :(

Yeah...I have played a ton of Aff lock on the Beta....Its extremely shard starved. It is a major feedback given to the devs though so we can only hope its fixed

I think the spec is too much bloated to my taste... too much things to press: giving less meaning to what aility you doing . I prefer evoker or enhance , wich is the perfect middle between simple and overcomplex
