How is the product economically compared to SDF? Thank you
@bichocorral2 жыл бұрын
i think sdf is cheaper, but you should remember that SDF could change a little bit the color of the tooth on the white spot if its porous
@affiliatedchildrensdental2 жыл бұрын
It’s more expensive, about $30 a unit, though in some states Medicaid through DentaQuest is offering 50% discount

Curodont is being marketed as well for interproximal lesion remin. How are you able to apply it to interproximal lesions with the current applicator system

I have another tutorial that shows an option for proximal

Is it working for bruxism?

Could it be used to hold early brown spot stages? Or would it be too late for this product?
@PEYPLACE Жыл бұрын
It's too late when you give up. Never let a dentist tell you it's too late. You keep working on your teeth.

Could this be used to strengthen areas that don't have cavities nor lesions? I have a particularly weak and translucent looking enamel.

Curodont Repair is for incipient caries lesions, but you could use Curodont Protect for home use and well as the other home care products from vVardis, like toothpaste

Dr. Maclean, after 2ish years, what are your overall thoughts on curodont? Are you still using it in your practice?
@affiliatedchildrensdental3 ай бұрын
@@brandonwood1611 I’ve had one case cavitate out of about 750 treated teeth. We are still using it. Wish I saw more radiographic change, it’s been more lesion stability

@@affiliatedchildrensdental Thank you so much for the reply! Amazing to see/hear those numbers. Looking for conservative options for my patients and I think I should give this a try.

Hello, Does it work with orange/brown lesions ?
@affiliatedchildrensdental9 ай бұрын
This is not intended for congenital enamel defects or stain, it's for incipient caries lesions
@jeromehugues9 ай бұрын
My sentence was about orange/brown caries.
@affiliatedchildrensdental9 ай бұрын
@@jeromehugues what is your goal? Arresting caries or improving the clinical appearance? If the latter, then Icon resin infiltration and etch bleach seal would be more predictable

Can,a tooth grow in a metal tooth??
@affiliatedchildrensdental2 жыл бұрын
If you’re talking about a silver grown on a baby tooth, the new permanent tooth is separate and growths beneath the baby tooth which eventually falls out along with the crown
