How can you take mana from artifact lands with Karn on board ??? 😵‍💫 (6:30 Monitor then Drum)

im the affinity player and i just totally missed the interaction, ive only played the deck a few times and it hasnt come up yet. i did use some for kappa but i also tapped them for mana as well. my bad!

@ yeah it happens I’ve done that many times. But fun fact. You can get around Karn for improvise cost

Activating darksteel citadel with Karn on board lols It's a mana ABILITY from an artifact, can't be activated Improvise is not an activated ability. You're tapping other artifacts to generate one mana....
