Sandra, it is kool watching your choice of chords on a song such as this. I actually switched to one of your fingerings on the E7---walk down section. I use the full chords using the 6th and 5th strings in chords such as Bm7, GM7, etc. throughout the song because I play it in a 3 piece band and need the fill. I have never really had much of a chance to play in a manner such as you are doing because I have mostly been involved in 3 and 4 piece bands. But I love the variations you use as usual. 33 years of jamming and love it as much today as ever before. Thanks for a great video.

could you do a lesson on the actual intro of the song? it’s so beautiful.
@FlipArt572 жыл бұрын
If you take the first 6 notes as a scale run (beautiful part) land on the first chord and stay there for awhile moving only the first finger to mess with the bass part of it. Don't analysis a special way of doing it. Just do it. It will result identical to the way he plays it.
@FlipArt572 жыл бұрын
Take the first 6 notes and land on the first chord. Play with the bass with the first finger but play also the melody behind it. In other words your playing the bass and melody using OPEN strings also on that chord. It's on D major. Don't play exactly like the record. Just improvise. Then it will be identical within days.

@@GuitarversumSandraSherman You are a great teacher & I'm sorry the music world is so harsh & unfair & doesn't allow room for music teachers without such harm. It is odd, because there is 'fair use' copyright law for teaching purposes. I wonder why that doesn't operate here? I wonder if there is any way you can approach the copyright 'claimers' to make a deal with them for such a 2nd video? I am an artist & made art from some living masters photos, etc, & contacted them for permission to include it in a public art show, & every single artist I contacted, even famous ones, replied & gave permission. You never know. I'll pray you have favor & receive it. That would be a great lesson, & you would be my top choice to teach it. I think people would at least subscribe over that video.
