It's mentioned that any of the weird potato art was made by Minoto and it recently became popular in Elgado and possibly even the kingdom, with Minoto even being asked to autograph copies. So yes, that painting is made by Minoto but it's not how she sees herself vs how she sees Hinoa. Hinoa is just the only thing she can draw well, despite them being twins.

Funny thing is that when you talk to Minoto in the post game, she tells you that the people of Elgado want her to do a live painting. She goes on to say that she can't paint and that she certainly can't paint in front of other people. Minoto has agoraphobia and stage fright.

The Qurios "attacking" plants isn't that bad. What concerns me the most is that the Qurio can also gather around piles of poo. Does that mean the monster responsible for it had digestion problems?

Poop usually contains discarded blood cells (that's where the brown color comes from) so I guess to the Qurio it's just another healthy meal. ...I may be overthinking this.

I am not an expert in animals or ecosystems etc but my thoughts on water creatures being so scary: Considering water is denser than air, you don't need the light bones or feathers to have full movement in water, it allows for a lot more options, allowing much lsrger and scarier creatures underwater than land or air. Also as I said air creatures usually need light bones n feathers etc, but most land creatures need legs and/or arms or more limited without, and can only move where land allows, so a lot less freedom

As a Snakeowner myself.. i defrost the Mice and Rats (we have a python :P ) in warm water and then use a Hairdryer to further warm them up. This also releases alot of the smell in the air luring the snakes out of their little Hiding holes so the feeding process is easier and quicker :D

The Qurios suck out energy, and everything in the MH world has tons of Bioenergy. It's kinda the main reason such an active Monster-based ecosystem can exist to begin with. Plants, minerals, even poop is chock-full of Bioenergy. In fact, it's my hypothesis that armour, weapons, and skills confer the Bioenergy of the materials they were made from to the user. This is why you get certain skills from certain armour pieces, as the remnant Bioenergy of the resources that went into it influences the crafted item to enhance traits that embodied the materials' origins. For example, Bazelgeuse is an explosive Monster, so its armour confers Bioenergy that subtly enhances the explosive ammunition you use.

Hey Josh, if you don't want your snake to make the mice explode you should try putting the mouse in a sandwich bag, and then leaving the bag with the mouse in the water for a couple of minutes, we've found they get very warm and they're not wet so the moisture doesn't surprise the snake causing it to tend not to explode it

i think the article need an update (yes im begining my ramble again). so quetz was primarly an hunter of small prey and scavageing on corpses but there is an gaint azdarhid that filled the niche of apex carnivore the hatzegopteryx! it lived on what used to be an chain of small islands where because of island dwarfism many dinosaurs shrunk and hatzeg´s abbility to fly made it so he wasnt contain to one of the islands so he could feed on all these mini dinosaurs while not having to shrink. and with that there were no predators that could rival hatzeg the gaint azdarhid took the role of apex carni, he even had an more robust skull to help tackle stresses an apex needed as he was eating prey that would have been to big for quetz like zalmoxes and magyarosaurs an 6 meter TITANOSAUR! the family that contains the largest dinosaurs to have ever walked the earth like the largest dinosaur ever argentinosaurus that was 30-35 meters. so that why i find hatzegopteryx such an underappreciated as we have an pterosaur that might have been slightly shorter than quetz but was more robust (my ramble is now over :) )

Afflicted Seregios is nothing compared to Astalos lol. Seregios is tough but at least he retains his hitzone values when pulled out of afflicted state. Whereas Astalos is also tough... but loses all hitzone values when pulled out of afflicted state. Makes his hunt a little annoying when hitting for low damage unless everyone piles on his head with slash/blunt weapons... shot weapons get the shaft.

Astalos was actually the first A5 monster I fought. Before I had even unlocked the non-investigation type A5 hunts, I got a level 55 Astalos investigation. it feels kind of weird to me that that even happened.

I started playing World on my PC and man you can notice how jacked the evade window in Rise is. I keep rolling through stuff on MHW thinking I'm definitely getting hit annnnnnd nothing. It's kind of refreshing having the window again to play up on a monster. You can do it here in Rise but it feels more reactionary versus rolling to actually i-frame something you see in World. If next MH looks like World and plays like Rise I'm gonna be a happy mf'r.

I have a theory that's probably wrong, but could be fun: We're going to get A6 investigations in a future update and it'll be afflicted elder dragons. Then they'll introduce Nergigante to come in and feed on the afflicted elders that we kill and becomes some kind of super Nergi. I think that could be neat in part at least because Ruiner Nergigante felt incomplete.
