@@SIIKAP1 they removed the only talent that made it worth pressing by just spreading Agony on everything. Only reason to use it now is if you soul rot 3+ targets and if u have breathing room to even cast it without getting kicked.

@@kaleoandros25 As a lock main, I like how affi feels at least with the pure single-target build I made for it with Haunt and dropping rampant because fk that extra 10% UA nerf. The commenter above you is right. The class doesn't need the crazy drain life healing with how tanky it is already and how we can now use multiple healthstones in fights. Personally I'd be fine giving up demonic healthstones to have back the 50 D.L stacks from Agony sticks, but whatever, I'm adaptable.

I got hit by malefic rapture for 1.4 mil on live servers in a BGB. Not sure if there's some bug or something because the aff lock did 2x the damage of the next person and more healing than one of the healers.

I feel ya. Retail PVP is for more advanced players. Older slower iterations are better for many of us less skilled players. I completely agree with you here.

@@hobblefoottherogue1094 your buttons and skills felt like they mattered in the first 3 expansions. In retail it just doesn't feel good. It's also hard to comprehend the damage and what's going on with these huge numbers and health pools, all the passive healing and survivability. Not to mention the skill effects themselves, it's all way too busy. It would do retail some good to cut all that bloat out

@@jessedavis5992 this. It's not about skill, it's about how impactful your cc setups and abilities used to feel. I play cata and retail arenas, and cata is so much more satisfying. In retail, you think you and your team layers everything correctly, then someone will just heal 90% in one button, they will pop 2 walls, and the healers are virtually unkillable. Everyone is a damage sponge and it's just a slow, drawn out mess of self heals and shields

Affliction warlock is average lol. It’s going to be pretty awful without the survivability lock depends on to live between “burst” windows. A decent bit of classes are getting more defensives but aff lock is losing the largest part of its kit? Its ability to giga drainlife.

Affliction deserves to be ignored by any nerfs for the next month. I was D tier for 2 years, slow casting nothing burgers. I pray blizz devs don;t do to affliciton what they did to Fire mage and BM,,, BM, the most played class in the game for 15 years and it is useless, in every game mode.

Absolutely need to do one of the following: 1) Heavily nerf Shadow Bolt damage for Aff (I believe it is fine for Demo bit could be wrong). 2) Establish an internal CD on Nightfall and not allow it to stack. Instant Shadow Bolts from a DoT spec doing WAY more damage than Chaos Bolt which has a significant cast time (especially at the start of an expansion) and is supposed to be a very hugh damage spell is wildly bad game design. 🤦🏻‍♂️👎🏼
