It’s a great format for people looking to move or buy a vacation property. Good shopping info with the current prices for upgrades. The complaints are probably from people living vicariously through your vids and just want some daydream eye candy. Keep it up, with regular house tours, rental tours and now this you are providing a well rounded view of the current market.

Appreciate your practical advice. Very helpful for me who is not going to move to Italia but who enjoys visiting and fantasizing about buying a house and living there full time. Grazie.

Same. I am Italian born now living in Australia. A house like that in Sydney suburbia will start at around $2 million AUD in areas where you wouldn't want to walk after dark.

Has a great view, too. Says urgent in the original description, so could be a really great deal. I actually like both formats. For those not so familiar with all kinds of aspects the short ones are great and the detailed ones for interesting properties.

Great feedback. I’ll continue to do both, and people can sort them out.

Glad to help! When making these videos, I think it’s easy to forget what information could be valuable to people. Before we bought our places here I certainly never went to home-improvement stores and shopped around or appliance shops or talk to an insurance agent. It’s all the important stuff that seems mundane when you’re doing it. I’m glad it’s helpful. I’ll keep putting it out there.

Hello from Kolkata India…lovely video, this format really allows for some serious flexibility…the shopping titbits gave a hint of the art of the possible …and more importantly what is actually practical…very quickly…bravo!!!

The stone with the date above the doorway is called a Capstone or a Keystone.

Right. Wasn’t sure on a non-arch (not a real weight bearing arch) if it was still called that.

Tombstones are the first thing I think of when I see some of these beds, too. 👻👻👻. I like this format--it's a nice way to understand the market and options. Since so many of the houses have gas for heat and cooking, are tankless water heaters a thing there? Do the houses have enough electric service coming in to run electric tankless? And another question, since you were in the hide-a-bed business: I have a super great quality one with a bed that has broken support at one side of the head of the bed--can it be repaired or a new hide-a-bed fitted to the couch--and how do I find an outfit to help me with it? Many thanks.
@BradsWorldАй бұрын
Regarding your height of bed, the best option is if wherever you bought, it will take care of the issue. Next best option is perhaps eight local reupholstery shop. Usually they have access to replacement beds. They’re generally a standard size so you might be able to find something that fits in there. Third option believe it or not might be to have somebody that’s mechanically inclined like a good fix it repair guy take a look at it. They might be able to fashion something that will fix whatever’s broken or stabilize it if it’s something having to do with the actual mechanism going into the sofa frame itself. Kind of weird that the thing broke, we did about 20,000 custom orders and I can only remember one or two that ever broke and it was generally when someone was moving them from one location to another. Good Luck!!
