For this video, I wanted to take our hypothetical watch collection concept and take it in a little bit more of a playful direction. We're going to propose five different two watch collections, pairing one affordable watch with one luxury watch based on the needs of five different personas. I have an Omega Speedmaster Moon watch as my expensive watch and an Ingersoll watch that my uncle owned. The latter only runs for about 7 hours, has a movement without any jewels at all, but has a sunburst, champagne dial and an attractive tan leather strap. It is cheap, but elegant. A bit like me, I suppose, and I like it!

I’m currently rocking a Speedmaster and also a JLC Master Ultra Thin Moon. The Speedy is versatile as it allows me to swap straps ranging from NATO to leather and the JLC is dressy enough for black tie events and also casual enough with jeans and polo tees.

My 3 watch for average guys 1-Invicta Diver 1953 version 2-Wenger Terragraph field watch 3-Casio F91W. Perfect for those of us who fish, hunt, and work outside. 4-Seiko dress watch on a leather band. Yes, I know that's 4 watches. I have 6 watches that are in my rotation but if I could have only 2 it'd be my first two listed (and I'd buy a Casio secretly after collecting some soda cans)

*Grand Seiko (Spring Drive) + your Seiko 5 of choice* is a pretty tough combo to beat (assuming you want them both to be mechanical). If not that then maybe *Rolex Oyster/Omega Aqua Terra + G-Shock DW-5600/GW-M5610* for a more _literally_ tough-to-beat combo?

Prefer having 3 watches rather than having 2. Two real pieces (one sports/everyday watch, and one luxury/dressier watch), and one absolute beater (a gshock). at least thats how i think about my own collection, which is exactly built up like that

I guess I fall in the sports / adventure personal 🤣 I have a Garmin Fenix 6 that I love to death. I know it is a smartwatch but to me stills carries the sentimental value of a watch. I have done triathlons, marathons and half marathons so it has been with me through my worst moments and best moments! My second watch is the Casioak! I love it too and I got engaged wearing this watch.

I'm a watches lover and I have 9 pieces of good working watches although I am not really a professional watches collector, but if I have to trim down to 2, it must be two of the very affordable, maintained free watches: 1/a Citizen eco drive field watch(solar quartz) for daily wearing and 2/ a Bulova skeleton automatic(mechanical) with no date as a dress watch.

I own more than two watches, but it's ironic that I own the JLC Reverso with a blue dial, and a White 2100 in white that I wear when I run or hit the golf course or gym. Love both of them.

For the two extremes, I would go even cheaper and get a fitness band like Mi Band 3 - 6 ( $25-$45), and go all the way with a Cartier Tank MC at the upper end ( $7600). Also, you can always lend your Cartier to your wife/girlfriend since it's so small.

I wore a dressy watch bought from a drug store to a reception dinner, the gentleman next to me leaned over and complimented on its classy good looks and then said he's never heard about the brand and said it must be some high end stuff and out of his reach, being an honest guy I told him its actually quite affordable, excited, he then asked me where can he get one, is there a waiting list? I said no, you can pick one up at your local drug store, no waiting no lineup if using self checkout. He finished his meal and dessert without saying a word to me.
