Afghan Bonesetters Remain Trusted Healers, Despite Doctors' Warnings

Afghans who can't afford doctors, can't reach one easily, or don't trust them often opt for a visit to a bonesetter. These traditional practitioners offer low-cost treatment for breaks, sprains, and other injuries. But some doctors say patients who use them are putting themselves in danger.

Bone setters were some of the best doctors back in the day. I have seen some while visiting different countries and their techniques are safe and efficient. Some were simple, and others worked on me for quite a while. Of course the medical doctors don't like them - THEY ARE CHEAP!

Still, some sort of regulation may be a good idea to hold people accountable.

yeah but how many times have you been to a hospital and they've messed up AS WELL!!!!!!!!! i'm from Australia and it happens very often!! and they're meant to be "TRAINED"
