Afghan Whigs are one of greatest rock bands of any era! It’s upsets me that they are not more recognized and praised for their amazing songs and talent 😢
@srimaddukuri2 ай бұрын
It’s a good thing. They’re alive and well and appreciated by few, as opposed to being hijacked by the tribe of nomads that control the industry and proved to turn everyone into pop stars and drug addicts. These are Midwestern boys. Let them be.

This is one of my all-time favorite songs by any artist. This song stands the test of time. I love it as much, if not more, today as I did the first time I heard it almost 24 years ago. Love it!!!

It's 10.23.23 and the world is crumbling at the moment. When this blew up in 1993, it was so remarkably exceptional and explosive. The video went with the song flawlessly. The band couldn't have been tighter. Handsome Greg, from Ohio!, was the perfect representative of how cool, wise and sincere we are here in the middle of the world. Even now, 30 year's later, this song is just as powerful, as timely and moving as it always was and even more. The clock of Life is ticking and the Afghan Whigs have truly left a everlasting mark on Rock n Roll, art and culture that will never be erased or forgotten about or unappreciated. Thank you Mr. Dulli and the rest of the Afghan Whigs, your true fans will always Love you and we know it's mutual. -❤☀️ ••• ps - I had a dick for a brain back then too.

@@SunSimLord This deserves a few thousand more likes my Friend. This record was a tour de force lyrically and from a musical perspective. SO PASSE to say, but it really doesn't sound like much I've ever heard before or since. P.S. "Hear me now, and don't forget!"

Whigs withstood the test of time. It's crazy to think this is coming up on 30 years and that all there 90's albums still sound fresh. Few if any of their peers can say the same.

Record executives (libtards who profess equality, but are the most supremacist human beings on the planet) said that the band needed a black guy in the video because it was too “white” and Midwestern for national consumption. I agree. I’m Indian-American. If the black guy wasn’t in the video, I would have thought the band were KKK. True story, according to CNN and CNBC.
