(I haven't played Elden Ring because I am bad at video games) Regardless, it still released as a DLC. If it was also released standalone it'd be a game, but it wasn't, hence why some have said it shouldn't have been nominated. I'll admit there is a worthwhile debate regarding what should count from an artistic perspective. Especially nowadays as DLC gets bigger and continues to blur the line between what counts as "DLC" and "more game." But there really isn't a debate if you just look at the release format. I suppose those are just two perspectives on the issue though. Can't really be right or wrong on a matter of art.
