I wanted people to look up lyrics themselves to find out what songs were playing, but you did everyone a solid who didn't want to haha.

Man...the flashbacks for me. I was so in love with Davey in highschool. To this day, AFI is the band I've seen the most, 8x, and I'm on the east coast in NC. Followed by BTS 5x. Haha. Boys come see me again so we can punk out. My 🧷s, black band Ts and skinny jeans are waiting for me patiently in my closet ready to be soaked in sweat. Lol You guys were so damn lucky. Cherish the memories!

Just because my concert of them was at long beach convention center and it was a big venue and thats when they blew up and Davey still had his screams. But the atmosphere was different and all these new kids trying to scream and squeak like Davey. I had to get hammered to even tolerate it. I remember the days of stage diving and crowd surfing at there concerts. Now its just terrible. That was my last concert. I saw highlights of the palladium show. Even there older songs off the art of drowning. Sounded different. Just totally different voice. I hate to say it but I can't stand afi now. Or his voice. I hate they sold out for fame and money. Just isn't the same anymore. Oh well. Got to move on.

The base guitar seems to be very loud compared to the other instruments at this concert. On the plus side, the base player really does do quite a lot. I hadn't realized how valuable he was to those songs. He's very valuable.

Thank you for posting this! We were next to a crazy aggressive/violent guy in the middle front who ended up getting removed by security and then shortly after a lady crowd surfed onto my head (neck still hurts) so I don't even remember the first few songs. I'm glad I'm able to see what I missed 😄🖤

Ive been listening to afi since almost the begining and they have been my favorite band for so long and i saw them live right when crashlove came out. Would of seen them before but i was so busy with work. Anyway everyone says davey sounds better but i dont. He does weird shit with his voice and doesnt sound raw or himself anymore. I know bands grow and evolve but its not the same. I truly feel sing the sorrow was theyre last best album.

I hear what everyone is saying & I sadly have to agree. Getting older & trying to keep the energy of our youth is not easy. The newer songs, I filmed the audience standing, bored out of their minds. When Davey cut his hair, took out the piercings, he lost me. Then blackened out his tats? I was in love with a look, a style that was no longer there. The energy of their older style when it would pump me up & make me want to full throttle my jet ski. Also gone. I can’t get rid of Davey’s autograph on my body that I had tattoo’d on… but I have lots of AFI items I’m wanting to sell if anyone is interested.

He's a human being, not an object of your youth to be preserved for your own enjoyment and attachment - his tattoos probably looked like shit after so many years, not to mention he probably didn't feel associated with them anymore... But on the bright side if you black out your tattoo of his autograph it will actually be an even more fitting tribute and I think that's a cool way to move forward with that while keeping it still very AFI!

I refused to see afi anymore. They just lost me after STS. I mean they set list is pretty great, but Davey just doesn't have the voice he once did and the anger! Hes very over dramatic when he sings now. But at least they played a lot of their punk era songs. I would have never guessed they would play these songs. Then the screams he has the crowd do. Still respect for playing their best era a lot. The art of drowning. But wish there were a lot more black sails.. MY favorite song is of greetings and goodbyes. He played back in the day when they were still hardcore and he killed it. Here his voice is just so different.

But that opened doors and let the right people come in and manage. They had to change everything about themselves musically. Pple say evolve. That's horse shit, blatant sell out. Living through that time in high school in 92 I seriously bleed with this band to the crowd surfing to singing on stage with Davey. I guess it’s hard to come to the realization that the band who was once so great then sts comes out and it was okay. But then du comes out it was like hearing two different bands. Literally all my old punk friends that we went to shows can’t stand them. It’s like a betrayal. I’m cool I’ll be seeing bad religion this Friday! A band that always stayed true to there roots. I’m surprised u like du I mean it’s like night and day from any other album. Clearly mainstream emo that album. But to each there own. Ur right just one knows my tats lol! Other than my old friends. I just tried to give crash love and after a chance today. Listened to all of them. Absolutely hated all of it. Not even one good song, and I like all kinds of music. None of the songs were good. Not one.
