just saw them both last weekend and yeah...AFI blew 30 away. 1/2 the time Leto didn't even sing the chorus and held the mic out to the crowd. dude likely can't hit half the notes on the songs. also they have a guitarist but you wouldn't know it, dude literally doesn't have a spot light on him, probably something contractually. lol. loved the first 2 30stm albums but hadn't listened to any of their newer stuff and it was just walmart version of imagine dragons.

they arent paying enough attention. 30stm has been in steady decline for close to a decade. they arent even a band anymore. theyre a electro/dance duo that knows how to play drums and guitar. its a shame. at one time, they were the greatest thing in the world to me. now - i dont even listen to them. AFI - always been amazing- not digging his Braveheart hair haha. but its his head and he can rock it how he wants.

The first live performance I've seen of them in like 20 years. And with Age you can hear the deterioration in his voice. But god damn his stage presence is unmatched. This is how all aspiring vocalists should strive to be on stage. Maybe not as flamboyant, that's a personal touch, but the owning every inch of that stage part. But even I will admit, I do some pretty wierd shit when I have a mic in my hands too. Helps to bring the emotion out.
