Excellent analysis even! It was a critical aspect of the Brisbane win. Even though Grundy was the highest rated Sydney player, I don't think he was effective in the way that Darcy Fort was. Darcy and Joe played to the plan and their limitations, the mids played to that plan and were able to move the ball forward to predictable spots. If Sydney did get the ball forward, it was under pressure and gave the Brisbane backline a 50/50 chance.
