I was at the game but, like any tragic, watched the recording. Sin number 1. Not knowing the names of the players. Braedon Campbell was suddenly Thompson/Thomas. BT didn't even know the name of his nephew. WTF? Sin number 2. Not being able to tell the difference between the players. A player has dark hair so it must be ollie Florent. I particularly loved when they called Gulden kicking to Gulden. And the realised third receive was Gulden. McInerney barely had his name called. Sin number 3. Being at the game, not understanding the strategy and providing no analysis to the viewership. Seems they've got so use to calling the game from a screen in Melbourne that don't watch the actual game. I miss Dennis Cometti. You guys have saved the season for me.

Cats fan here. I was at the Pineapple Hotel in the Gabba for the prelim. Fuck it was electric in there. What a game. How good is footy. Alex I think you're right, Cats dodged a bullet, i wasnt looking forward to the rematch haha

I didn’t see the port swans game the same way as you guys. Port was on top first half on literally everything but scoreboard. Most of swans scores were from straight up blunders from port, often under no or minimal pressure. Again it’s just showing swans should not be favourites, they are the stoppable force that beat the moveable object that is port. Geelong and Brisbane have complete teams, swans and port have midfields.

You can’t be on top if you’re behind in possession count and continue to turnover the footy. If you can’t get on board with how the swans moved the footy and cut port up in transition, I don’t know what to tell you. But it’s what makes footy so great!
