I’ve found that one of the biggest confidence-killers in dating happens when we dwell on the reasons why someone may not be attracted to us. Our looks, our age, our past, even the fact that we have kids-the fear of rejection for who we are can stop us before we get started.

Said singles.....I didn't find mine at my best. He met me at my worst and was with me the whole time. My sister is happy but not happy either. She needs a husband. Everyone is married and want married friends not single ones. And would be nice to double date with her and her husband. Being a 3rd wheel is terrible.

I just met mi girlfriend in her bad health condition in the stroke ICU,we have 2 weeks connecting together and I had that deep feeling inside of me that she's the one meant for me. Her emotional response gives all signs that she's soulfully filled and happy when she's with me and mi biggest wish now is just to see her get to respond back physically to express her feelings as she's on stroke

Most of women know this in their heads. Not all men are the same. Not all men are selfish, cheating, abusive, or manipulative. There are a lot of good men out there. The problem usually lies within the woman's own heart. Sometimes she doesn't believe in herself that she could get one of the good men out there, or that she can live without a partner. So, she settles with the selfish, cheating, abusive, or manipulative man.

I've been single most of my life. It's hard sometimes, but even if we meet someone we may be alone at some point again (when one passes away, or for other reason). Dont get me wrong, it is hard when you do meet someone and it doesn work. It's just, acceptance is the only way to at least realise that you can be ok being on your own despite that. Im in early 40s.

I wholeheartedly agree with the message that one’s worth doesn’t depend on what someone else’s tastes are. But, as Matthew himself says, love isn’t enough to sustain an intimate relationship. You can be a wonderful, loving, kind person, but that does not mean you are going to be physically attractive to any of the single people you encounter. And sexual attraction is an essential component to most romantic relationships. There are many happy, loving, wonderful, confident people who love themselves and who know they are loved platonically by many others, but don’t experience romantic interest or sexual attraction from others, even when they put themselves out there.
