As an advocate for sustainable development, Emmanuel Boakye Ababio believes Africa's challenges with political leadership rests on the shoulders of her youthful population.
With an average age of 19.4, it is shocking to discover that the average age of the oldest serving African President is 80.2 years.
Emmanuel delves into the characteristics of young people which makes them ideal candidates for changing the continent's narratives and spearheading positive change. Nana Boakye Ababio is an SDG advocate and has a genuine passion for Youth leadership development. He is a graduate of the University of Ghana and a former country director of AIESEC Rwanda. You are right but how will the old leaders leave the leadership for the youth. I feel this will only happen if the youths take charge by absconding election periods, revolutions and all that. My question is how many youths are willing to do that??
