What an awesome video! Although the most impressive thing I saw was being able to pick a good sized rock up off of the ground while sitting on the seat. :D

The fork lugs were just smacking the outer rocks before the tire started to climb out. That rock happened to be the perfect size to get the tire up and clear the bottom of the forks.

I'm floored. My jaw is on the floor. You didn't just manage to do all that, you did all that without talking through it, without any coaching (self-coaching or otherwise), and without any help. And you did it with a very, VERY heavy bike. Absolutely phenomenal. DCT would have come in handy.
@tylerseely5 жыл бұрын
Seems like this kinda stuff would be perfect for the DCT transmission. No stalling right?!
@DK1998115 жыл бұрын
One thing about the DCT is that you can't let your clutch slip so you only have the brake to control going slow on these tracks. That means less control so you might fall faster. Honestly stalling isn't as big of a problem compared to the amount of control you lose if you can't use your clutch imo.
@CamelADV5 жыл бұрын
The DCT works great for many things and lots of guys really like it offroad. I had a DCT AT originally and I just didn't feel comfortable on it. I have friends that crush it on their DCT bikes, it's impressive to see but not something I can do.

If I was riding my 450, committing and carrying momentum would be the tactic of choice. On a 550lb ADV bike, it often leads to rims the shape of stop signs and caved in oil sumps. Since I pay for my own parts, slow and steady is often a better choice.
