I'm a huge fan of Dr Arikana-our modern African Warrior Queen. She tells it like it is, no-frills and no spoonful of sugar to make the bitter truth go down!; Had we 50 African leaders like her-our Continent would have fulfilled its potential. I'm not sexist BUT, too much testosterone in Parliaments across our Continent for too many decades; we need more women leaders to contribute compassion, tenacity and integrity.

She is an orator but what she is saying is nothing new. Actually some of the things she has mentioned in her speech are not her own. White angels and black devil, I heard that from Muhammad Ali, et al long time ago. If you study the Bible you will find out that wherever Christianity, their culture was disrupted. The change of culture and traditions was not just in Africa. The same thing happened in the Roman world. Apostle Paul, Peter and John were arrested and imprisoned for preaching a doctrine which was contrary to the Roman way of living.

blacks are the most biodiverse group on the planet. Dna 🧬 says it and the vastness of our 9 ether genes means we don’t always grasp blk women intelligence and logic with one another (for example, mix the dynamics as you wish) as we will grasp an asian woman intelligence and logic. Partly the reason i think blk men lust after interracial relationships. But we are beginning to see we are sufficient and dont need or want anything others have to offer. The most high endowed us with soo much. We are truly in a lane of our own. No comparison.

Most of those so-called independent countries were only independent in names only, they were given a nice pretty colourful pieces of cloth, a flag which they have not even created themselves ,the colenal masters gave those territories a flag and tells them that they are independent while the masters still having their sovrienties locked away safely in,LONDON AND PARIS.

"They designed Africa that work for them while Africans are yet to design Africa that work for African people". This is really deep. No wonder a Nigerian President can easily travel to New York, Germany or London but finds it very difficult to visit Lafia a nearby state capital even if it has been turned upside down. Their boys have been doing the job in the name of a country President. Let's begin to RE-IMAGINED Mama AFRIKA that work for us.
@lewistonsmith61795 ай бұрын
This should be required listening for every African child at home in Africa or in the diaspora. Late in the 20th century there was a movement among African peoples everywhere that witnessed an awakening. Out of that movement came the Pan-Africanism. The early leaders of the movement have passed on and since then there has been an acute shortage of worthy successors. As a consequence there has been costly setbacks. The burning issue is how to get the movement back on track. Steve Biko the revolutionary South African once said that "being black is not a matter of pigmentation, being black is a reflection of a mental attitude". The current crop of leaders lack a realisation of black consciousness and the ability to rally together around the cause of their oppression. That systemic weakness of visionary leadership underscores the present loss of direction of the liberation movements started in the late 20th century. So that although Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao considers "leadership" as an above the ground issue, i consider it worthy of being considered a below the ground or a root issue.

About the corruption throw those leaders out and tell the countries who benefiting the people who you made a deal with aren’t African first so start over simple. They make a new deal . They told blacks in America promise 40 acres and a mule never received anything.
