Banjo is a west African instrument.
@returningfire5156 Жыл бұрын
@@diawara9852 There's not a single Banjo tune in this song. They are sing country music. A very AMERICAN sound. While anyone worth their salt knows the banjo comes from Africa, the American genere of bluegrass made it as well known as it is today. Quite trying to divide, princess.
@amazing50000 Жыл бұрын
@@returningfire5156 Dude, what do you think Country Music, an "AMERICAN" sound is? It a mixture of a few WEST AFRICAN instruments and Scott-Irish / northwestern European folk. So why are you getting upset because someone said that the Banjo is a west African instrument like if the Banjo was never played in Country Music?

Wonderful Country Music! I love country music since i was a kid. I don't believe that music has a boundary. Music is for every race on earth! Keep up the good work brother! Your band is excellent! I always search for black country singer here on you tube because there are few colored country singers like Darius Rucker. Few people here in the Philippines loves country music but I don't care because country music is my passion. In the 70s we had folk-country artists like ASIN & FREDDIE AGUILAR.

Gorgeous-elegant song congatulations, We Love Country-Blues-Jazz-Celtic. Sometime before about five centuries in the American continent came together some people from Ireland and South Africa respectively, everyone in the country-continent was playing traditional Celtic and African music, so when found together on the ships and in the New World began a new genre known then and now as Bluegrass. then under various conditions the Irish compose music Saloon and Africans the Spiritual, over the years these two "then newborn" sounds evolved in two major bases of Rock, was the Country (Ireland) & Blues (South Africa).

This is good. Better than much of the so-called country that gets played on the radio. However, I have to wonder if he was listening to "Its Me Again Margaret" by Ray Stevens when he wrote the music. Especially the opening riff.
