Thank you for your great reaction. Music overcomes so many barriers! It made me feel connected with you, a total stranger... Thank you!

It is great how much feeling (anger) the singers are able to get in their vocals. By the way: The video was made at a place where nearly 100000 soldiers died in one single battle in the war.

Have you noticed how quickly trolls delete their comments? They are afraid of the masses... ALWAYS. They are disgusting narrow-minded people who only accept their own opinions. They just have one more brain cell than a chicken.

It's obvious during the first verse, when it dawns to you what this song is about. It's kind of adorable.

Reinhard Mey had the ink for this song in his pen much earlier. Cool, right? The location (forest) of the video was also not a coincidence. There was a massacre there in WW2. Be careful.

I of course comprehend the spirit behind this version, but I have to admit I do prefer the original version decades old. Just Mr Mey (white hair, white beard, glasses, appears when the song gets quiet again ) and his nylon strings

Greetings and Love from Germany. Cool reaction...and pronouncing the song title in German is something that many people find difficult. I really liked your pronunciation. But you're not from Namibia, right? This is the only part of the country where 'Sister German' is still spoken. The terrible Germans brought the language with them to you during the shameful colonial period (from 1915), along with misfortune and suffering. However, have a peaceful Sunday 🌈

Wonderful, very emotional song - BUT - as we see every day, it won't do any good. We can sing against it as much as we want, but the people at the top, our goddamn politicians, don't give a damn about it...!!
