It is absolutely not the case that courses on African Political Thought are only taught at Columbia and SOAS. There are numerous African universities that teach it and in the Global North, universities which offer modules on African Political Thought include, inter alia, Howard, St Andrews, Case Western, Princeton, Winston-Salem, Leiden, Ottawa. Actually, the list goes on and whilst African Political Thought is not taught as much as it should be (by far), it is ridiculous to claim that there are only two places in the entire Western Hemisphere that teach the topic.
