No need to be upset 😊 as there is so much ignorance about Africa by the rest of the world and Africans for that matter. South Africa has been occupied by Westerners & developed for over 300 years - hence the high level of development. Africans have to be very honest about the differences between developments in Africa as a whole. The longer the white people have occupied the region, the more highly developed it will be. That says a lot 😉.

I wanted to hear more about this Cape-Dutch architecture and the Victorian-Georgian architecture. It's very fascinating. Cape Town houses don't look like any other houses I have seen. And I have also noticed that new-builds in Zimbabwe are borrowing heavily from this SA architecture. When Mr Zim was showing you the old (colonial) houses in Zimbabwe and the new houses in the new suburbs of Zimbabwe, he mentioned that they are different. The new houses in Zimbabwe, together with the durawalls/perimeter walls now borrow heavily from South African architecture. Even the idea of putting floor tiles the whole house, it rarely happened in Zimbabwe in the 80s and 90s. Only the kitchen and bathrooms were usually floor-tiled. The rest of the house had concrete screed and then carpet on top. In the townships, not even the kitchens were tiled - it was concrete screed all over - check out Makandiwa's house.

Cape Town and Joburg technically have no equals in terms of development on the continent they are the 2 cities that really put South Africa in a different class above its African peers. They both command significant chunks of Africa's private sector.... Camps bay is great though I found the Atlantic ocean water on the beach to be cold compared to my favorite beach Muizenberg on the Indian Ocean side of Cape town

@@kossammusundire5194 everything you listed is completely irrelevant except the infrastructure part like good roads which i agree with yes they have better infrastructure.. etc, and about the best university, the ranking is completely dumb and makes no sense, because people are different, what you think is best university for me might be a horrible university for me. @@walkwithorrplease watch Velile Lifestyle and decor. African tigeress show casts the Africa not recorded in mainstream media in other words positive side of Africa. She can have a show "where rich South African villagers live".They are developed by black South Africans and have lots of fully black owned businesses contrary to what media reports or wants people to believe. P.S I am not South African (next time she comes to Zim she should also show the beautiful village houses in Plumtree).
