I am uncomfortable with misdirected black rage just like I am uncomfortable with misdirected white rage. Black South Africans can most definitely affect other ethnic groups as they are the majority and the have almost total political power. Your own statement implies that Zulu's have enough military power to through whites out I have no idea how you assume that means they have no power.

In the 3000 years since the end of the Stone Age, the indigenous people of Africa could not manage to create an infrastructure, could not mine or produce export, could, in fact not succeed in building anything higher than one story and could not write down anything as reference for future generations, because they could not manage to master the art of writing. In fact, when the first Europeans arrived on 6 April 1652 it was 1974 years after Ptolemy and built the magnificent library of Alexandria - and in Southern Africa the indigenous people still could do no more than a few rock paintings and a clay pot with patterns on it.

Totally wrong and I surely do disagree, White Privilege does exist in many ways as you White people it doesn't matter your status always feel the need to come to Black people's vicinity and harass them or do them harm as surely justice won't be taken. But if the other way around, of course, we the Black will be called criminals, thugs. I almost forgot we'll also get locked up and jailed for so many years. White privileges aren't just in the economic and financial and academic field and of course, maybe you lost your house and all and never have the opportunity to comfortable lifestyle but when to come to us Black is all because of our skin color. They treat us like animals I mean you White people treat us that way. Remember the apartheid, the low budget pay when it comes to Black farmers, the murdering of Black farmers. People like you will be going about saying racism doesn't exist all because few Blacks are educated and in high places. Even at such status, they still do experience racism, and what about the poor Black who are being killed and harassed by the White policeman. Let me tell you a Black man is hated everywhere. So stop lying and using yourself as a fault example.

> I 'm not going to elaborate on the reason but here is the solution from my point of view: Firstly If the Government own 30% of land including 4000 farmland then there is no ways that white could not own 80% but less than 70% Also lands belong to non whites making it less than 70%..On the other side plenty land was handed in the past to non whites . It is also senseless to hand out land when the banks will not finance new farmers that has no agricultural qualifications. Rather give the workers of the land shares and dividends on the farm-land that they work..In that way the farmer will not lose his business and the rest of SA will not run short on food. .....> (Disregarding Race or Gender) that don't want to work on farmland but work in the city should receive sufficient RDP houses to replace the squarer settlements and proper land should be allocated to squatters that has sufficient water and sewer until the RDP houses are built. for them.

I am a white Afrikaner male doing a PhD on exactly these issues. First of all I am shocked by the type of nonsensical discussion brought to the table by the two black gentlemen. I never held any high regard for AfriForum, but really all that the white person tried to do was to have a meaningful discussion. Yet each time he touches on a contentious issue he is shouted at, apartheid is blamed, and the black gentlemen then refuses to engage on that subject any further. I have to say, their notion that only white people can be racist, that black people can never be racist is precisely similar to our current presidents perception that a shower will wash away HIV. Every sentence they spoke was rife with racist and prejudges discourses and dominant political ideologies. e.g. by saying that blacks cannot be racist and immediately afterwords making the case that racists should be fired from their jobs, imprisoned or removed from the country, they are essentially saying that all whites should be driven out of the country or fired or imprisoned - similar to the social media statement that blacks should do to whites what Hitler did to the Jews. How is that not racist or oppressive? - THE WORST AND MOST BLATANT FORM THEREOF INDEED! I would like to invite them to substantially prove to me how I am benefiting from white privilege (a concept I am not at all familiar with) in the current post-apartheid democratic South Africa. I attended a farm school along with other black learners, similarly high school. I come from a single parent household where my mom was the main breadwinner having only a teachers salary. I had to work my ASS OFF to get through school and get accepted to a tertiary institution - in the face of racial quotas. I had to work and pay my own way through tertiary education - I could not get a bursary because I am white. I am currently in a ridiculously low employment position (for which I am tremendously overqualified and experienced) as I was blatantly told to my face that as a white person I will never achieve any higher level of employment. Because of issues like this whites ARE leaving the country. Yet there are constant complaints from our black ruling government about the brain drain.... I do agree with them that there is no such thing as "black privilege". it is much worse and can perhaps be termed "black entitlement" That is the perception that blacks are owed and that they must get everything for nothing, at the expense of all whites (and even at the expense of their own in-group ethnic others suffering in shacks). You want to take the land from white people for free and do what with it? We are already importing grain and chickens, staple food, have you considered the current threatening food shortage, or future of food security? Do NOT get me wrong, I am not implying that black people are lazy or unable to farm. I am stating that because of this overwhelming sense of entitlement and perceptions that all whites just walked into and got handed everything they have on a silver platter blacks assume that without any education or knowledge they will be able to produce food, i.e. the crops will just miraculously sprout from the grounds and flourish, the live-stock just multiply and get fat (which historically they never had, even before whites arrival - but which they stole from the whites). I would like to request both of these black gentlemen to go and watch this debate in the privacy of their own homes, trying to assume an objective third person perspective on what was said. If they then cannot comprehend the nature of their language use and discourses passively but continuously expressed then yes, we do have a problem. In this case perhaps it would be best to drive all whites out of the country similar to what was proposed under apartheid with the homelands act. We are not so many and I for one will be willing to sacrifice what I have worked for so hard, (my property and Ford Fiesta) to go and live for example in the most desperate infertile and dire place of the country, the Karoo dessert perhaps. Then you will be rid of us whites and we will be free to live our lives accordingly, free to develop and free to progress. Lets then view this as a longitudinal study even. In 20 years we will revisit each other and the land which we occupy We will analyze political, societal, economical, technological, infrastructure, agricultural, environmental and cultural developments of each group. However, you will then not have white privilege or apartheid to hide behind or conveniently use to excuse your failures. I believe your achievements and developmental progress will be quite similar or maybe even worse than in the past 20 years post-apartheid - after you have received ALL power. We can go even further and relate your successes in developing a first world country to a third world state having economical "junk" status to that of Germany and China after the devastating wars they experience, and in the same amount of time that was given to you. Perhaps you will also blame them of being racist? As a final thought I want urge you to go and read the first clause/paragraph in our country's constitution, especially the final sentence thereof. Similarly revisit your definition of equality, which currently is that all spheres of the country should reflect the demographics of the country, irrespective of competency or education. Perhaps equality could be better defined in line with that first paragraph of the constitution in that those who do not have access to the opportunities of the privileged should be aided to reach that level of access. Then it should be up to each individual to prove themselves and work (or not) towards their own successes or failures instead of merely taking it based on a sense of self righteous entitlement. Lastly, do keep your ear on the ground and your eyes open. I am fighting for equality, non racialism justice and freedom of expression. I am sure you will immediately view this as white right winged activism - that will be the first mistake you make,; I am fighting for ALL RACES! You should know that Liberation never star out with a "big bang" so enjoy your privileged black-entitlement while it lasts...

I would much rather you keep all of those things and move away. They didn't employ you because you have an unfair advantage provided to you by your ancestors at the detriment of black people. White people will, at least for the foreseeable future, carry this advantage because they have more than enough resources to ensure they receive the highest level of skills training money can buy. As opposed to black people who literally have nothing. White people cannot complain about anything that has anything to do with racism in this country!!! You murdered and butchered millions of people just to fatten your pockets!!I would suggest that white people just shut up and enjoy their ill-gotten wealth and let the blacks try and salvage what they can of this mess. Buqaqawuli Mguca - It would be ignorant to think that the technology and modern lifestyles we are living, are borne from African culture and traditions. These things we all enjoy are all products of colonialism and westernisation. You don't get to deny that on the basis of your skin colour. It's a fact, however inconvenient it may be. Unfair advantage? I have no advantage - I did not walk into a bank and receive a house because I'm white? where are you getting this stuff? I had to work myself to the bone to afford a house. And so did my black neighbour. We did not sit around moaning about other people's so called privileges. I got nothing from being white, all I'm getting is refused job applications, because I'm white, no work promotion, because there is a poor black person playing a victim card that really needs this promotion in order to keep up with his lease payments on his new black BMW. How do you account for all the successful black people in society today? If life so bad as a black person, why do we see millions of successful black people. This white privilege is a myth, created to make white people feel guilty. I feel no guilt, because I know I have worked hard for everything I have. Yes black people have also murdered millions of people and they still do - all for their own gain. - What's your point? has a black man never murdered a white man? Or are you the only poor victim here? Did you know that the vast majority of slaves were captured and sold to Europeans by their own black chiefs and kings. Did you know that a white man ( William Wilberforce) made slavery illegal?? Yes that's right!! Slavery is a product of black greed dating back hundreds of years, don't you think that a few hundred thousand african tribesman could not out outnumber and fend off a mere 50 or so European softies that came ashore on a boat?? Africans sold their own brothers and sisters off as slaves to the west in return for compensation. They are the ones responsible for slavery. The largest human trafficking operation is still in Africa, and is still run by blacks. Go and read up on African history and current affairs. You don't get to deny the facts, just because of your black privilege. No - You are not God's people. You don't get to chuck God under the 'black victim bus' in order to support your fake black-victim claims. WE are all God's people - it says so in the Bible. For you to think that God has singled out black people as His chosen people, is akin to the Nazi's believing that they are the superior race and that they are singled out above everyone else. I'm sorry, but you don't get to deny the truth and facts of life just because you are black.

I find most of your comments to be grossly inaccurate and biased. To presume that the "modern lifestyle" that white colonialism brought with it has improved our black people's lives is a bit pretentious. I am of the opinion that the modern lifestyle cannot be in any way considered an improvement at any level given that it is by nature a very destructive force that's destroying not only mankind and he's natural state but the very world in which it lives. The cost of being able to text you right now is staggering! It would be funny if it wasn't so sad how white people sold to black people Hummer SUVs that now have to be taxed because of their carbon footprint (if you get my drift). Colonialism has done me no favours in that respect. A home is a beautiful thing to have and you might have worked hard for it, as you should, but i put it to you that a black man had and has to work infinitely harder just to put food on the the table. It is hard work to study at top universities, it is what makes them "top". It is hard work keeping a business going irrespective of whether or not you got preferential treatment at the bank. I will not deny you that. But how much harder is it for the average "black Joe" with absolutely nothing?? But we must be careful not to personalize the issue. When i speak of "black people" i am referring to the vast majority that lives in abject poverty not knowing where their next meal will come from. Statistically speaking the most white people do not experience poverty the way black people do and a handful of successful black people does not in anyway reflect the true socio-economic inequities of South African society today. You might not have had to rob a bank, but your ancestors robbed South Africa so that you wouldn't have to. I really feel it would be an insult to myself commenting on your outrageous comment of slavery being started by black people. The level of ignorance in that comment is superb! I think you're a person of sound mind and maybe you might have let your emotions get the better of you there. Having read some of your other posts on this subject i am of the opinion that you're not racist but you feel like most young white people do in this country, that you're unjustly "persecuted" for offences you did not commit. I have always felt that is a legitimate complaint. We're all victims of apartheid in one way or another, but your suffering is nothing compared to the millions of black children whose lives have been condemned to suffer and die in abject poverty. It is for them that i feel and speak for. If i would advise white South Africa about anything it would be for them to start engaging with black South Africa in a tangible and meaningful way. Go to the townships and learn about black culture, make black friends, use the resources you may have to uplift them.Only when the black man is truly free will white people realize real social security.

Buqaqawuli Mguca Im not saying that modern technology is all good. What I am saying is that its inconsistent with someone's world view to bad mouth colonialism and in the same breath the person is getting into his new car bought from a European car dealership. Consistency is the key. All I'm seeing when I look at the thousands of black people who live in poverty, is not a failed political system of yesteryear. I'm seeing a failed ANC governement of today. This government could have turned this ship around along time ago. They have had 22 years. To blame this on anyone else, is to not take responsibility for the present. too many people are sitting in the informal settlements waiting for a hand out from a government that promised them equality. Equality is a myth - no man is equal. Democracy is not the same as being equal. Communism is closer to equality. The issue with equality is, one man will always deem himself 'more'; equal that the next man. It simply does not work. The ANC government is responsible for this culture of "blaming it on racism and apartheid" - people cannot lift themselves up when the leadership keeps giving them excuses for why they are where they are. It's been 22 years. Surely you can see where we are coming from. I agree with you in principle on your post. I just think that the government is using apartheid and racist as connon fodder.

Just like at work I get told I am where I am because of white privilege. But when I told them I grew up and lived in a caravan they told me I'm lying . I was born into money and in a nice big house. My parents didn't finish school. Mom packed shelves and shoprite today she's a success. My dad packed fruit at epping Market today he is self employed. I went to a terrible school and just because I worked my ass off to get where I am. White privilege. My parents only reached there success after I finished school... One guy at my work couldn't pronounce a surname correctly and all I did was try to help him and guess what I'm racist. Also why I'm white and my girlfriend is dark skinned and my son is mixed. And I can't wait to leave the place I love the most. South Africa. Wish I could feel safe by letting my son grow up in South Africa.

Today I double my fathers assets which he built from scratch not to mention he couldn't even speak English or Afrikaanas when he arrived from south Africa. Blacks need to work hard and Give up the bad lifestyle that's distracting to climb up the ladder in society.

Well my answer to your first question depends on your answer to this question, What makes a person racist in your eyes? Yes I believe that all white people are privileged because the global system of racism white supremacy guarantees that if a black person and a white person, have the same socio-economic background, same work ethic, the person classified as white will still succeed over the black person because the system is in his favor. There are studies that show that a black man with a college degree has the same chance of getting a job as a white man with a high school diploma, Why is that Sir? The education system is a joke, for black students, we are not taught the proper skills for us to not only thrive in the world, but we are barely even taught how to survive in it. . Education for white students is the real deal because you guys are learning what I'm taking in college, in middle school and high school.

3 against 1. Baie ontstellende video. The are disrespectful towards Ernst. Telling him he is a criminal. :( The hatred towards whites in this 'debate' is tangible. So we are all criminals because of our skin colour and the past? You can't reason with people who have so much hatred in their hearts. Tragies man, tragies. Breek my hart. I can see where this country is heading, but I will trust in my Lord my God who is in control. I do not deny there are racist whites, but they are a minority. Black people can be racist too. I do believe they are a minority as well. Well I hope so! A plowman who keeps looking back is not fit to get the job done. Put your hands to the plow with your face set like flint ahead, keep looking forward and get things done properly! Stop looking back! I give the video a thumbs up for Ernst. Melusi Kubheka Bohloko So according to your reasoning I am not to mention the Name of my Lord my God at all? Please, I am a child of God and would never use God's Name in vain. You think I do not see what you are trying to do? I won't play your little game sir. If the skin colours were reversed I would side with the black person being insulted like that. You don't know me, you don't know my heart. I am making a *righteous judgment* according to what they are saying. Am I even allowed an opinion? What on earth does whether I am willing to marry a black man have to do with all of this? No I won't because I am happily married to my husband who happens to be white. Is that a crime now too? Talk sense please. Or are you trying to paint me as a racist? Not gonna happen, because I am a child of God and I love all people, regardless of skin colour! Just because of the actions of a few white racists does not mean all or most are like that! Never did I even suggest that black people are not capable of doing what white people can do. Why you even said that is beyond me! Wat die hart van vol is loop die mond van oor né. Go in peace Melusi. Don't come to me with false accusations. It has nothing to do with me being one sided. I gave my opinion on how I saw this video. I don't have to explain myself. What I wrote is very clear and I stand by what I wrote. Obviously you can't please everyone. I am never politically correct. When I speak, I speak truth. I don't speak hate, I spread the love of God. I love all people. Even those two people with much hate in their hearts. That's how they come across to me. +Amanda Wait Again you are using God´s name in vain. If you are as holy as you are portraying yourself to be, why view and comment on a political video. Are you more concerned with earthly affairs Missus? Well if you have read my comment carefully you would not be so defensive, it is said that when one is being defensive there is definitely something to defend. Which is stimulated by a feeling of guilt. I said most whites are racists, because it is an amazement when one sees a white person who is socialising with black. You are just suffering from being ignorant which is something I´ve found to be common with most whites. Ernst absolutely said nothing except that whites are better, again that is white superiority and black inferiority. Goes back to the things said by gentlemen there that we still are reaping the fruits of apartheid. Black education is where it is because of Bantu Education, something introduced by white afrikaners, while the English were in power it was much better they even built universities for black people. Ernst is just a static that makes up the number of the majority of racist whites.

+Melusi Kubheka Bohloko See the snide way you refer to me because I am a Christian...but thanks for the unintended compliment, because my God tells me to be holy because He is holy. I don't need to explain to you why I am commenting on a political video! Who do you think you are? Since when are Christians not allowed an opinion on political issues? Grow up. Something is wrong with you if you think I am using God's Name in vain. Oh yes, another thing, _God_ is His title, God's *Name* is YHVH and His Son's Name is Jesus who is God in the flesh. I am in no way defensive. Continue playing your little game of hating on me all because I am white and dare not have an opinion. Move along please, this is not South Africa, this is KZbin where I thankfully can voice my opinion freely. Funny how when people on here see I am Christian they attack my Christianity. Bringing up the holocaust and comparing it with apartheid is incredulous. The Jews were starved, and sent to gas chambers Nobody alive today, except for holocaust survivors, knows that kind of persecution and they refrain from discussing it. There were multiple nations in South Africa, not just the Dutch and English, just as the Moors from Africa went to Europe, but I guess historical facts don't count unless they can be used for one point of view. Racism can come from all nationalities and races. Indians, Chinese, Turkish, Pakistanis, Portuguese, Greeks, French, Germans, Spanish, Italians, Russians, Poles, Afrikaners and English natives make up minorities in SA yet the majority target minorities and place blame on them for everything. I've had it up to my frelling eye-balls with people stating or implying that black people cannot be racist. Racism has no ethnic boundaries. The only requirement for being racist is being an A-hole and there are overwhelming numbers of those on both sides of the fence. I am white South African female. I could not study the course I wanted to at the University of Pretoria, because according to the student Councillors there I am "not black and the course is only for black people". End of my final year in high school I had change my life path. Then I study Journalism, finish the course and then get told, I cannot work because I'm white and they're only hiring blacks at the moment. And you know what, I still don't blame the average black joe on the street who is also trying to get by. I do blame the ass backwards governmental system and stupid Ideas like BEE and the quota system that say because of your skin colour you get the job, not your merit or ability. And please don't pass it off as "equality" because these systems are insulting to the many black people who work their arses off, do their best are proud of them selves and their abilities and then you relegate them into a system that ignores their abilities and merit and basically says, "here you go, you have this job because you're black, your abilities have nothing to do with your promotion." Please don't tell me in your consummate ignorance you're going to cling to those old colonialist/Apartheid excuses. We must learn from the past not cling to it like some pathetic child clinging to a decaying corps in hopes of comfort and vindication for our own inadequacies. Acknowledge, the horror of the past but don't wallow in them every chance you get. Treat it like and ex-lover, they're there, you greet them but you never go back to that relationship. And for love of Aunt Bessie learn to frelling adult.

The Coloured People were treated very badly by the Apartheid Government. There was a Vote then to bring them On Board. The Transvaalers and Freestaters Voted Against as they did not have any expierence of these Wonderful Happy People. So there was this Heartbreaking moment in our History that can never be forgotten.

Coloured People Speak our Language....Afrikaans. They were on the Voters Roll till 1956. They should never have been sidelined The Transvaalers and Freestaters had no expierence of these wonderful People. I speak only about the Coloured People. They fought the Communists alongside the White Troepies. The Cape Corps even fought in the WW2. But then all Mandela's Peers were made of Gold too. Wonderful People. Something has gone horribly wrong since 94. When they came out of Exile they were Pennyless so Big Business (Rupert) Bought them Houses and Cars and that carried them through till after Elections. Then de Klerk got Jealous because he and his were to share and help the helpless to run the Country. So all the Departments were emptied...by them all the Filing Cabinets too not even a pen was left. So all these Exiles were treated abominabley and had to sit in all these emptied Governments Departments with nobody to teach them the Ropes. Ian Smith would have done anything to have this Senario. To share and Teach and Guide and save the Country from ruin. De Klerk and his Fogies did the RSA immense harm when he walked out of an opportunity to get the Country on its feet again. He failed the Country and the Peace Prize should never have been shared he did not deserve it. His February speech in Parliament was just not enough.

This just my opinion. If the issue is about privilege then put realistic measures in place to correct that. Debating racism isn't going to address any immediate problems, racism can only be dealt with by open minded individuals willing to understand another point of view. About the debate and its unfortunate that this wasn't focused on properly was the education system. This is the only way anyone can improve his/her situation. Allow everyone the chance to good quality education, make sure public transport is affordable and safe and look at subsidised housing. BBBEE's ideals are lofty, but if companies could invest in the education of black children and in meeting these kids, getting to know them, motivating them, so that money isn't just thrown in a foundation so that responsibility is taught but also ability and purpose, then the privilege issue could be dealt with in part.

I believe the ANC government is primarily to blame for the continued state of affairs for the black majority. I don't think the solution is dispossession of white people who didn't directly steal land however. Whites not acknowledging the past or joining in the efforts to correct those injustices is a huge problem however. As a black that's not militant in their views as Andile is, Ernst (and whites generally) inability to accept the historical account and the privilege he calls achievement does not stand him in good stead. Rather be an ally to black people's struggle than try to justify the past. If blacks generally prosper, South Africa prospers which is good for everyone, including whites. Unless that is not a desirable outcome.

+Black Pride I wouldn't call them mental slaves. I would call blacks in South Africa and all over the world for that matter, mental prisoners. I call them prisoners over slaves because there is indeed a war being waged against us. Once we put our situation in a different context, then more people will be able to identify our situation for what it really is...a war. And when you are in a war, you should be fighting back, but not necessarily with guns, at least not at first. If what we both agree that mentally we as black people are prisoners, then not all of our soldiers would be able to fight with us. So we must wake up our brothers, sisters and cousins and let them know what time it really is. This first must be done with the mind. We must study and analyze history to see how and why we are in the situation we are in. Luckily for us, we are not the only ones who have thought about the situation we are all in. We have the founders of the Pan-African movement Henry Sylvester-Williams and Edward Wilmot Blyden who understood early on the importance of all people of African decent coming together no matter where they are around the world. We have scholars such as Dr. John Henrik Clarke, Dr. Ivan Van Sertima and Dr. Ben Yosef Jochannan who have devoted a tremendous amount of their time to research our history for us to study. We have Chancellor Williams who wrote "The destruction of black civilization" that is very important for all of us to have in our library. And just because we are in a state of mental slavery, does not mean we should remain in that state. See, we are living in the age of information and we have access to information that was denied to us previously. We can not expect the enemy to educate us to the point where we would be a threat to their power. If we start a war with guns, do we have any gun manufactures so we can get more guns and bullets when we need them? We first must start with the our minds and the minds of our brothers, sisters and cousins. We must wake them up and let theme know what time it is. Check out Dr. John Henrik Clarke "You have no friends". He has a bunch of lectures on You Tube dealing with our past and our future. Please check him out...PEACE.

Mngxitama was emphatic when we spoke to him: “40,000 white families own 80% of the land. Deal with that.” He said his claim was supported by a recent state land audit, data collected by Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) and research conducted by the Institute for Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies (PLAAS) at the University of the Western-Cape. Mashego did not respond to questions. So what does the data tell us? The state land audit, carried out by the office of South Africa’s Chief Surveyor-General and published in 2013, did indeed find that 79% of South Africa’s landmass was in private hands. But that includes land owned by individuals, companies and trusts and all urban real estate as well as agricultural and mining land in South Africa. Therefore, according to Mmuso Riba, the Chief Surveyor-General, “there is no basis” for the claim that whites own 80% of South Africa

Antiques by definition need be a 100 years or more to sort of qualify to be placed in a museum. At least something older than your grandparents frame of reference I would think. The point is that this is more of a gallery that is connotised as a Museum to create maximum sympathetic impact as its good business, like shoah business. The oldest documents in South Africa as far as I know are held at the National Archives in Roeland Street housed in special rooms with temperature regulation. And that is merely a repository or library. The documents held there are completely ignored by the black population as if they don't exist, couldn't care less or can't conceptualise that far back. Create a gallery of recent South African history, gain sympathy by labelling it a museum. Not the first time this has been done in history. In saying this I am in no way indicating it should not exist. It does seem the intended purpose here in this video is to blame people like Roets, all white people actually for all the evils of some white people during the homeland period or separate development period starting in the 1950s. Blacks have selective memories or can only fathom living memories, anything before that doesn't make sense to them. How I ask to Andile did a handful of white pioneering people evolve into its peak of around 8 to 10 million in only one country on the African Continent and it happened nowhere else in Africa. That did not happen overnight thats why, it took centuries, not just a few decades of Apartheid. I really believe our black citizens cannot conceptualise anything longer than thier recent history, as everything here that they are complaining about is history since 1950 or so and if you like the Native Lands Act of 1913 which is just a smidgen over 100 years ago. Look its sad that blacks feel this way but there are countless other events that happened in South Africa stretching over centuries. Some white families can trace their families back to around the 14th generation born in South Africa written in black and white. Find me a black man that can prove in black and white that his family have records that go back more than 4 generations and even that data was captured for them by white people. Wasn't this Andile guy a Gupta/Bell Pottinger creation?

In 1994, the youngest voter was 18 and that voter today is 43 years old. Considering that very few 18 year old's vote one would think that many of the young at the time voted in favor of the end of apartheid and for the ANC in 1994. However, today the very same activists, whom apposed apartheid, are labeled as racist. Zille, Steve and the list goes on. I am sick and tired of this screwed narrative. The old flag... flung long before the start of apartheid and apartheid ended under this flag in 1991, the new flag and the ANC only came after 1994. The current narrative is shocking... the ANC has produced more poor people that what apartheid ever did. NO jobs, no food, no power, no water, no services, yet the minority group is blamed, the 7% of whites living in this country... not taking into account how many of these are children, the retired and or also living in the famous white squatter camps. How much of the 7% is in the actual work force?? How many actually make up the middle class of this country?? Open your fucking eyes, for gods sake!!!

There is nothing that Ernst can say that will make an impression on these bigots. How does this individual on Ernst's right think countries like USA, Australia and NZ came into being????? It was what happened at that time in history. In USA and Aus the indigenous people were virtually eliminated. In SA there was an effort to negotiate and get involved in trade with the local people. The whole debate is actually pointless, we just keep on going round in circles.

Even white privilege does not extend to all whites, many are in dire poverty in SA today. What happened in the era of colonialism was a completely different generation. If we all want to move on and progress and think about a better future for the next generations, we must respect each other and find our Christian values to forgive, to help and support each other. Redistribution of land? SA has 8M unemployed and 32K commercial farmers. So if every farmer's land were expropriated, the EFF would have thrown out thousands of years' worth of agricultural expertise in exchange for an utterly negligible decrease in unemployment. Also, agricultural output would suffer from such a trade, so more misery for the poor. With EFF govt., investment in SA would evaporate, so more unemployment. SA's poor need jobs, not land. Investors, both foreign and domestic, want an environment in which property rights are respected.
