@La' Mariposa IKR. It’s a story so bizarre that you either have to be there to to believe it or just believe everything you were hearing about this guy. Like, if I were to educate someone on this guy and they believe I was lying and just saying a bunch of bull, I honestly wouldn’t blame them for thinking that. I heard of this guy back in 2014. Past his prime. I didn’t believe it at first but the story was so interesting that I decided to do more research on it. It took the multiple stories they had with Chris with the back up that was provided and the phone calls where you know Chris was being himself unironically and the multiple people who are involved with this and not even a leak of this being all staged to realize that this guy was legit. The fact that he is legit and the story is so bizarre is what makes it so interesting to me.

The first six seasons were really good, the jokes always landed and the characters had fun personalities that made it fun to see them play off each other, even with all the rude and lewd comedy it's still made way for some heartwarming moments going into Chris's depressing life. But after season 6 everything changed, the characters were flanderized to the point where they became unlikable, the episodes tried to be serious at times but it was too much of a comedy show to completely shift its tone, they started doing a bunch of fourth wall breaks to make fun of the original fans who had grown tired of the series which shows a more passive aggressive attitude towards their audience. And then they started making this mediocre spin off with one of the side characters who wasn't nearly as funny in the spotlight as he was a comic relief to the main characters escapades. It got so bad to the point where a similar show that the Creator made ended up being funnier in the long run despite it basically being this show but with political undertones for the first few seasons. The original Creator isn't completely to blame for this though because they had stopped directing episodes since the 8th season and only does voice work for the characters now, even they said that the series should have ended around season 7 which further proves how far the show has fallen.
