I believe if you wait until the "Kiss?" prompt passes, Abi and Nick actually do have a bit deeper of a conversation (that also may potentially hint towards his true nature, when coupled with some of his later actions). Kinda too bad it's locked behind waiting for that QTE to end, but that's also the beauty of the game as well haha
