We have that stove, almost the same model. Ours has a display and timer on the head, and it doesn't use a battery. The front right burner is bigger than the ones on the left. Did you not get the metal plates that go under the grills? Also, why didn't you go through the floor instead of the wall?

Bring them your pizza pans and ask them to make a few pies and stick the whole pie into a pizza box, pan and all. Take em home and pop in the freezer. Maybe a little plastic wrap. When you have a hunkering you can take it out and thaw for a bit and pop one in the oven. Maybe they will, maybe they won't. Can't hurt to ask. 😉

Hi Sean, i’m back. You have the same stove I have in my VA house. I’ve seen other off grid folks get it because it’s convertable. Mine has been running for 20+yrs on gas. I baked six loaves of bread at one time in the oven. But I bought an extra shelf so I could do that. Mine wasn’t hotpoint, but same difference. I have a timer and clock on the top most band. The stove looks lovely. You’re going to go nuts now that you can bake at home. Yes, interested in your puzza dough recipes. Get a starter going too. Since I asked, i found out why i was seeing people add soft butter as the last inge=redient to bread. They claim the yeast doesn’t have to work against the slippery texture. The baker just get gunky hands from needing the butter in at the end. (I had both knees replaced, months apart. Still getting better)

I've GOT to get framing and insulation done before I fly back to TX get my 4Runner pulling a U-Haul trailer, and 2 more of the dogs... lol. That blonde ale should have been pretty good???? I like blonde ales (and females too... LOL). I'm envious of the stove Sean!! I understand a retirement ceremony would have been in order... LOL!! I have a 20 year old Camp Chef 2 burner stove/oven combo, and it crapped out on me last weekend. The regulator is where the bottles thread in, and it stripped out. And of course I can order replacement parts from Camp Chef, but they don't ship to Alaska!!! So it's being shipped to TX and I'll bring it up with me next month. In the meantime I bought a 1 burner butane stove from Sportsman's to get me through. I have a big Camp Chef 3-burner camp stove, but no where dry to set it up!!! lol... such is life off grid in Alaska, right??? What volume of propane bottles are you going to use in your final set up??? I ask because I brought 4 brand new 100# tanks up with me in May, plus I already had one here. I'm doing the same thing you are for starters, in fact I just ordered that dual regulator from Amazon earlier today.
