I don't think anyone listened to a single thing you said considering everyone in the comments are complaining about stick drift when YOU CAN BUY NEW STICK MODULES!! Not to mention the full software integration with the PS5 people seem to leave this out but you can literally customize everything on the controller in the settings on your PS5, deadzones, remap buttons and paddles, stick curve response. So yes this is the best pro controller for the PS5 the software integration instantly makes it better than any other pro controller for the PS5 specifically.

I’ve been using this controller for a week so far , improved at Bo6 with the omni movement. Faster time to aim n shoot , I flipped the back paddles the opposite side and feels much better that way. Definitely worth the purchase

The battery isn’t a big deal because it’s considered a competitive advantage control hence the paddles for fps and other games , that’s why you can adjust trigger deadzones and joystick settings

@@iamthegamingnerd Xdediant: I use l3 for jump and r3 for melee. Then I use left paddle to switch gun, and right paddle for crouch/slide. This allows me to run > slide (while changing guns and keeping aim) > fire my gun > melee up close all without taking my hands off the sticks.

@@ShoppinBagLoso I get that, and the majority of those people play CoD a lot… my point is you don’t have to replace the whole controller… You can replace those magnetized contraptions on your controller. I’ve had mine since launch and play everything from CoD to Cyberpunk, but I press the button with the force needed once I noticed how I am with CoD… my wife told me I was “white knuckling” my controller when I played CoD… so I learned to loosen my grip so I didn’t have issues later down the road. Like I said though, you can replace them now, so I’m not as careful but it still works like the day I unboxed it… EXtremeRate is the store to get it, and they have a step by step guide here on KZbin to replace it

Grips peel after 2 to 4 months plus they turn yellow and get dirty fast even with clean hands. Easy fix would be if they just make the grips black instead. Yes you can buy third party black parts but a $200 controller should just come with it. Had the left back button which I use primarily for jump break on two separate duel sense edge controllers and the battery life is absolutly horrible.The stick modules have been out of stock for a while now so if you get stick drift you are out of luck.Here an idea sony instead of stick modules that are always out of stock just use hall effect sticks instead . Id say there are many other options right now in the same price range to get one of them instead.Had high hopes for the duel sense edge but I am very disappointed. Good luck trying to use the 1 year warranty as well. Shame on you Sony

I'm still using the dual sense that came with my ps5. I game daily never had stick drift on my ps5. Still have my OG controller for my ps4 pro dual shock 4 and that doesn't have stick drift either. Don't know what you guys are doing to mess up your controllers😂. Even my Xbox one x still has the original controller and that's working fine as well. The only console I have that experienced stick drift is my ps3 and the controllers for those are cheap now, even the official ones on eBay. People should save their money. The edge isn't necessary.

personally got the dualsense edge day one & have more than 3K hours on it i do not have any of that peeling i have gotten stick drift 2 times but just went to the store & replaced both sticks the first time both sticks went out at the same time & the second time only one but it feels not great on the sticks if you don't replace both also you can get this controller for a crazy cheap price now used i looked the other day out of curiosity it's worth it imo PS if you want holographic sticks there's a company that makes & sells them for the edge they just pop right in like the oem ones although i have yet to try it out

100% no it’s not worth it a $200 accessory that still drifts and you’ll need a replacement module I’d take my chances with 2-3 dual sense controllers a year they last around 6 months that’s about around $210 and it just adds up to that $240 total with scalpers making the replacement module double the amount $40 since PlayStation barely has it in stockage only at $20 99.9% of the time
