Yea but why would he marry her? It makes no sense. Marriage is for young women. The point of marriage for a man is to lock up a young attractive woman and enjoy the best years of her life. Not to give legal rights to half your stuff to an aging woman.

@@TheWifeExpert There is absolutely no reason to ever need to lock up a woman who is over a certain age, who gave her best years to other men. She isn't marriage material and you shouldn't take the risk as a man. A young attractive woman, perhaps, is worth the risk.

@@TheWifeExpert And I am not saying young women don't also end marriages at an alarming rate. Women are going to leave in large numbers as long as the financial incentive to do so exists and as long as society(other women) keep encouraging them to do so. The risk will always be there but at least with a young attractive woman the man is also gaining a reward. Men need to start being smarter. She doesn't need a ring if she is over a certain age. Stop bailing women out and they will start making better decisions when they are young instead of giving themselves to the streets and accumulating baggage and trauma, which the new man will certainly have to put up with. You don't pay full price for an aging used car.
