Brilliant work, Scott. I really hope the site does well and expands. Sadly, as a massive Black/Death/Funeral Doom fan, AND musician, I actually make EDM and Dance music and not metal. I've really tried giving metal a go, but everything alternative I create - film score, folk song, metal, or whatever - always turns into a dance hall thumper. Still, this is a feckin' great idea for such resources and I hope it grows and rewards you for all your hard work. Incidentally, been a fan of Chernobyl since you used to do Cakewalk tutorials, so it's kinda nice to have reached this part of the journey with you. Take care.

So I’ve been following you both for a long time, bought every course Scott has made, and also bought a crap ton of your serum presets! Crazy cool to see you both working on this! So question, does this mean we can expect some black metal serum presets soon 😉???

Hey Scott! Thanks for this. I just picked up Metal Drum Programming Mastery as my Christmas gift to myself. So psyched as I love your KZbin Channel. I'm a Logic user so any resources for that would be appreciated. I'm curious about your template and your multitracks.

Cool idea! The industrial one is a bit up there, but all the others are VERY reasonably priced it seems, I mix my own stuff but won't mind picking these up next year and trying them up (I avoid spending on plugins/gear during the holidays)
@ChernobylAudio666
@ChernobylAudio666 Жыл бұрын
The mix sessions will be a bit more because it takes wayyyyyy longer than I anticipated to appropriately port them to other DAWs. It took me weeks to port that track to Logic, Reaper, and Studio One. Out of curiousity, what would you feel would be reasonable for full-on mix sessions like that?

@@ChernobylAudio666 Hey thanks for the response! To clarify, I already assumed the higher price tag was due to a much more labor-intensive product being put together. I don't mean to say it's _unreasonably_ priced; what I meant to say is, for me, strictly from a consumer's perspective, when a digital audio product is below the $50 mark (totally regardless of what the product does), it makes it much easier for me to accommodate it, within my budget. Mind you I'm from South America, so taking into account the currency conversions and whatnot, things are 'more expensive' for me, so to speak, so that's also a factor in my case. But I think sometimes companies like Neural DSP could make SO MUCH more money if their prices would come down, just a bit. I did buy ALL their first plugins, when they first came out (around $50) but then they became popular and the prices started going up (around $110-120 per pligin), and I just couldn't be bothered anymore. Then I saw their stuff got pirated after I paid for it, but that's another whole can of worms, lol.

@@ChernobylAudio666 To further answer your question, for me personally (and with what I mentioned before) mix sessions with a cost of $60 or less would be more approachable for me (esp if I'd end up purchasing more than one). It'd be cool also to see if you could do some sessions with popular (paid) plugins, and/or your absolute most preferred ones, not just free stuff. Same music material, but it'd be interesting to see (hear) the difference.

@@ChernobylAudio666 Mix sessions and maybe some IRs in the future. Most of those IRs sound horrible with tremolo picking. Too much bass or too much treble so I can hardly hear the melody. So kinda mix ready IRs would make life easier 😜
