In a way, yes. She won, but her son would be removed from her. It likely made the adopted son of another Consort or the previous empress. She would likely not be buried with the Emperor, too. For Ling's goals, she never got what she wanted. She didn't want the power to save her children but for herself. She never got it. Ruyi's son is still safe and elsewhere. Not part of the line of succession. She only wanted his safety, so for her goals, she got what she wanted. In the end, they all lost because of the Emperor 😒 I like your point, though.
