I love that you all are working on a truck a lot like mine. How is the drivability since the 5spd swap?? Ill have to watch that video again, but, the truck you got the pedal assembly from...i think you said it was an 85...did it have a zbar clutch? Or hydraulic? And if zbar, how did you adapt it to the later hydraulic setup for the transmission you used?

The truck drives great! It has some long legs on the highway with the 3:08 gears...it could probably use lower gears now. 85 was the first year of hydraulic clutch in these trucks, so that's what we used. The mechanical can be converted by adding the slave and drilling a hole in the right place on the pedal arm I believe, but I haven't done it. Thanks for watching and the comment!
