Technically, China, etc will pay for the tariffs. Americans will also pay, but in the long-term it's better to be more self-sufficient. By the way, I don't agree with tariffs across the board. Don't with coffee beans, etc. Common medicine, yes. Better energy prices could help out. In truth, it's not all about cheaper costs all the time. We are NOT just an economic zone.
