Best thing to do is get to the tyn y coed car park near Creigiau on a Saturday as lots of riders and follow into the woods and go up the push up path then there’s trails all over the shop. Taffs well quarry, there’s a public footpath to the left of the ty nant pub in Morganstown, follow that path all the way to the top until you reach the woods then again, there’s trails to explore, I don’t know half of them just speaking and following riders I’ve seen up there. Garth mountain, just ride to the top where the tumulus is and blast down the steep side to the wooden gate, you’ll be looking north towards ponty. After the gate ride down and then left at the path that joins it. The zig zag trails are on your right just before a wooden farm gate.
