I found one recently, But I was wondering how it would fit in the bed of my truck (1973 Ford Courier/Mazda B1800) Seeing this video, and knowing that the Toyota and Courier have basically the same bed measurements helped me make the decision on it. Thanks for posting, this was immensely helpful!

Congratulations on your find. I have 1999 Sunlie on my 2001 F150. I put Timbrens in the rear to prevent sway. Love our setup. Will subscribe to you and see how the remodel goes.

Just pounced on a 2004 Sunlite Sunvalley last month. I called and told the guy I was on my way with cash in hand...learned a hard lesson and had missed out on one prior.

What did that cost you. I am going to look at a 1997 today. Been stored inside of a barn. They are asking $3,000.

@@coltwinchester6124 It was a 2004, I paid 5000.00. It was very clean.

@@Jmisslyn what are your thoughts on a 1997 Eagle WT. Has the toilet, outside shower, AC . Been barn keeper for over ten years. Looks very clean. Asking price $3000. Thanks for the reply.

@@coltwinchester6124 Sounds like a good price. I didn't want a toilet. Sounds like a good deal, check out the roof, and and all of the corners. If it smells moldy, it could have some leaks.

Nice find! I just picked up a 90s Sun Lite truck camper that the mice had a field day in! :( I guess for $200 you can't complain!) I finally got the mouse pee smell out after a day of cleaning, now time to tackle the rear roof issues and nasty canvas with mouse holes! It's all part of the adventure! :)

Hey what year is your sunlite? What truck do you drive? I'm debating a 1990 sunlite and i drive a 2011 ford ranger.
@guyh.45533 жыл бұрын
Don't debate, pull the trigger! I found a Jayco Sportster 7 that I immediately got that is far better that this... except that the roof decided it wanted to learn how to fly.

You can replace the mechanism and tool to raise the pop-up.

Dude I bought an Apache 2002 model (almost the same) about a year and a half ago. Everything original and everything works $4K Had to rewire for tail lights and get a new AC shroud. Also, the crank has a tapered gear and its teeth were getting chewed up. So I had to get an new one. The only thing left to do is the running lights on the lid/roof perimeter are not working. Do you have a follow up video after re-build?
@coltwinchester61243 жыл бұрын
Did you get your outside roof lights working. I have the same problem on mine.
@VideoIconic3 жыл бұрын
@@coltwinchester6124 yes sir. I messed around with the wiring. I figured out what wires were going to my truck- running lights, brake, and signals. I bought new tail lights and marker lights. Everything works.

The 3 jack system is stupid. I added a jack and moved the one in the middle to the back corner.
