Afterlife SMP - Who will Die First and Last?
The Afterlife SMP is currently going on, and some of the members are getting much closer to their demise. Who will be the first person to lose all their lives and who will be the last? In this video, I discuss my thoughts on these places by determining the amount of lives each member has, and their history. Partially-inactive members will not be included due to their advantages. Hope you enjoy!
ALSO, some of this information is a bit outdated because the Afterlife SMP’s status has continued to change while I was in the process of making this video. Some major UPDATES are that LDShadowlady is now on her 10th life, Solidarity is now reaching his 8th life, and Smallishbeans is reaching his 9th. Joel may have a chance of dying before Jimmy now, however I still think that Jimmy could still pass

Another thing about scott is that hes about 16 episodes in with 3 deaths, 1 time dying to blazes because his origin had a low amount of hearts, 1 time being killed by other players and then being accidentally killed by lizzie. Also since Scott won last life, that definitely proves that he has it in him to win these kind of series

Scott is just very good at surviving in general! He lasted very long as a vlotheid and even longer as a vampire, he died by accident as an angel and you could say he is in the lead because he has been away but even with that like I said he is just very good at surviving

As others have stated, yeah I don't really agree with Meghan or Oli being listed as inactive. Though they don't have as many YT videos, Meghan was streaming Afterlife nearly daily for a LONG time (only stopping recently) and Oli has been streaming it fairly often too, and showing up in other's videos. The only one I'd count as truly inactive is Mika, though from Joey's video a while back we did see she had gotten on at some point compared to when she filmed last as there were changes by her base.

I would like to say Meghan is active in the SMP, she just doesn't collab with the others as much and usually sticks to her own stuff outside of Shelby or Joey visiting her every now and then. She doesn't really upload the episodes, but she streams everytime she hops on the SMP on her twitch, so it's not that she has an advantage of being inactive, she's just been really careful

i think you could count Oli, he might not have died a lot but he is kinda active. he has a few streams and has 2 videos. him having 2 videos is not cuz he is not active that much its cuz his videos are longer to make and he puts work into them. you also see him active in other peoples streams/videos

Scott is just really good at surviving for no real reason, it’s funny because he manages to get into so much drama and is a lot of the time interacting with other players but never seems to die (we know that lizzie killed him by accident and it’s pretty obvious that the dragon kill was planned I mean he had been a vampire for 7 or 8 episodes now he needed a change?)

I mean I think you could count Strawburry and Oli because Oli actually was one of the first to join the server in real time and even started building their home before Sausage! I would like to point out gem too. She uploads a video about once a week because of hermitcraft and is currently sitting on her 5th life. Gem also distances herself from chaos, like Katherine. She’s not the most likely winner, but she does have quite a chance.

Interesting take on "who dies last wins the game" because it was never stated to be this way, however when it comes to "winning" I would obviously say that Lizzie is the winner. After every death people were TALKING about her, looking up her new skins and theorising like crazy and Lizzie was fully aware of that, as shown in the first engima episode. She built some amazing things like the Raccoon House or the Goolien biome makeover. She gave you good amount of interactions with others and a *correct* amount of chaos. On another note, when you said (I think around sausage) that he is having bad luck because he was killed by other players, it's completely not like that. This ain't no dream SMP or other place where people just slay one another like crazy. Peeps will only fight and kill with consent. This is a server of talented builders first and foremost and not PvP fighters so any drama will be set up (e.g. Villager!Gem with Vamp!Scott, Angel!Sausage with Vamp!Scott, Wolf!Kate with Owl!Sausage, Goolien!Lizzie with Enderian!Lauren and so on). They know that kids will get mad and will sent shitload of hate comments to killers (notice Lauren's "yes sent me the hate comments they will make me stronger" and Gem's "do not send hate to Scott I asked him to kill me"). These peeps were in the industry for a long long time and they know what they are doing. Of course let's also mention that they are all FRIENDS so they probably do not find much pleasure in killing other members. Lastly I want to point out that the amount of set up deaths (which involves all the "mudurdurs") is probably due to a claim that many viewers make. Some people just suppose that Afterlife is a filler series for the break between Empires season 1 and 2. And at first I was opposed to this idea but after seeing how many setups are there, I am convinced that it really is a filler series. That doesn't mean we can't enjoy it though, right? When it comes to the ranking I have to agree. Lizzie will probs go out in the glory of being the first one closely followed by any one of Jimmy, Joel or Sausage. And Scott being last standing of the active members also makes a lot of sense.

That could be a possibility too. It seems like the members have been going much slower at the start, but are now being less careful which is speeding up their death rate. As an addition to empires, we also have the next season of last life coming up, which some of the afterlife members take place in too

I dont think so, as far as i know fWhip is the owner and organizer of Empires and he doesn't seem to have any rush to end Afterlife, his wedding is also coming soon too, so I would aim for october (I saw someone say his wedding was on September so I think he might wait until after the wedding to start to record), it seems really far from now but he also plays a lot on hardcore. And about Lizzie, Grian recently confirmed a third season of 3rdlife/last life that is not gonna be soon but its not gonna be in a lot of time so I'd say somewhere on July? Maybe, it'll take a while with all of the organizing and the mechanics, members, etc. I might be wrong as i always am so dont pay much attention

I think that lizzie just accepted a bunch of deaths and didnt really try to avoid them, and thats fine but i think a lot of her deaths happened to create drama, for example, the end death she kind of just jumps off the platform and for the gardian death, she was headed toward the pillar but then it cuts to her being more out into the water when she dies. While i do think that she accepted a lot of her deaths maybe for content, i still enjoyed watching the series from her point of view and this comment is not hating on her. I also should say that her deaths would be more pleasing to the viewers because it creates more suspense to keep watching, as for other members with barely any deaths it might progressively get more boring as the series goes on because nothing exciting happens, a lot of the time they are just building things and whatnot, theres not big thrill to it
