Another composition I made for the Undertale Yellow fangame! This plays in the second phase of the Neutral route's final boss, so please be careful of spoilers! I can’t believe you also composed the second phase of Flowey’s boss fight in his Meta form. In all honesty, this boss battle was very trippy and the fact that Flowey encouraged us to fight back against subconscious form, while asking us to choose their next form, is unnerving as it is something an ordinary villain *wouldn’t* say or do. We truly are at his mercy here.

The neat thing is he's not. He can't actually hold full control on Clover's soul at the end, and some of the messy and traumatic phase 1 attacks are things he'd never went to show somebody, by being inside his head you've actually got him at a certain level of vulnerability, though it doesn't seem like that at first

@@HypedRoblox in a sense, this form is as strong or stronger than Omega Flowey. It's just that he can't use it outside of his mind. Omega Flowey is the power of his imagination brought into reality. It's kinda like Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls. He had ultimate power all along. He just needed the means to physically use it.

It isn't quite as outright horrific as Your Best Nightmare, but it still retains a heavy emphasis on the horror of what's actually happening. Clover is completely at Flowey's mercy, and is only able to "survive" through sheer determination and Flowey's boredom.

It's crazy how the first phase of this boss fight, and the "cutscene" in between phases, could very easily have been a creepy-pasta, it has the same energy but without the factor that make most creepy-pastas comical at times.

The only mildly upsetting thing that scared everyone was the fact that Martlet physically melted. Something that nobody saw coming until then. There wasn't even a jumpscare or a loud noise to scare you. You're just left with that horrifying sight.

This is just one of so many great songs in this soundtrack, but honestly this one has to be one of my absolute favorites. So many little aspects about it are so perfect, it's obviously chaotic, at the same time as it sounds kind of hopeful before turning more desperate toward the middle of the song, right before jumping back into the action again. This is one absolute banger, and i mean that with 100% honesty. Great job, man!

Easily my favorite song in the entire ost, and it adds so much to just how much the entire fight just floors you. A *neutral* route fight being the biggest shock moment in the entire game is kinda wild, but damn does the song make that moment make a lot more sense. Well done!!

This is totally me when a yellow flower I was gaslit into trusting absorbs my soul, tells me he had to manually construct the path I took to get here because I had a skill issue on the normal path, makes me deal with his trauma, melts my best friend in front of me, and then makes me fight unholy abominations like really well animated hands, what seem to be Munchers from the Mario franchise, giant vines smashing through the ground, and Ceroba’s good friend Horses who has unfortunately been decapitated, and then said unholy flowey monster grabs my soul out of my body, turns it upside down, and turns into a See n’ Say where depending in whichever of his six petals I stop on he’ll turn into another one of six unholy abominations with options consisting of The Happy Mask Salesman, a pixelated nightmare (not of the White Face variety), a piece of paper that someone crumpled up so many times it stated getting soft, a literal organ (not of the Dalv variety), a somehow non-trypophobic shower drain, and a sewn-together mismatch of fabrics all vaguely in the shape of a flower, and then afterwards he tells me it was all in Le Head and deletes everything.

I love how you can hear the different sound effects that Flowey uses in Undertale. There's the clear "That's a wonderful idea," there's the sound effect for the vines in the Omega Flowey fight, there's his text effect, and I'm pretty sure there's also the sound effect for when Toriel hits him with her fireball. I don't know if I'm missing any, but those were the ones that I managed to catch.

You don’t even hear two thirds of this in-game due to specimen cutoffs, which is a bit unusual considering how your worst nightmare was fitted to sync with the battle and had the subsections be part of the song

The fact you can hear the high-pitched laugh meme, Roland 169 Ahh sound effect, MLG airhorn, and I think a very sneaky screaming bird meme, hidden behind all the synth and Flowey soundbites ruins the feeling of having not heard said sneaky bites at first listen, almost 3 minutes ago. Legitimately the best Flowey fight I've ever played, (+ Neutral Route attention confirming that swapping between murder and kindness is indecisive at best)
