Afternoon espresso shot - and test

In this video although I'm making a tasty espresso, I am also testing something. The Evo2 is incredibly heavy, but has a lower counter depth than some lever machines. I have the machine on felts so it slides about easily if I need to move it for whatever reason. My test was to remove the rear counter weight and see if the machine is still usable...which it is, but with the off centre pull (for video purposes) you can see the machine slightly move at the rear. I also fine that the slight movement can move it enough on the felts so the lever looses it's perfect positioning that allow me to open both cupboard doors. So the weight is going back on in about 10 minutes :)

I roast my own, so it would have been a Colombian Anserma, or Honduran Guacamayas, both cupping at 97+
