Xhaka would of been sent off for spiking Kane in the back of the leg.

I’m kinda getting tired of this era of hijinks penalties, like Auba, Gorginho, Hazard, Neymar et al. Trying to fool the keeper before the ball is kicked, looks great when it comes off but when it doesn’t they’re essentially tame shots nowhere near the corners. Remember the days of Shearer style pens? The keeper knows he’s gonna put it postage stamp, the striker knows the keeper knows he’s gonna put it postage stamp but it’s still thumped in and everybody’s happy. Arsenal need a penalty taker like that again.

Ramsey went out like a G. Auba on the Other hand, I’m disappointed. He does score a lot of goals. But he has no hold up play. He gets knocked off the ball way to easily. I know he isn’t a weak guy. But he plays weak. Also, to have such “world class speed” he sure does get caught from behind a lot.

He’s most a step as he’s gotten older for sure. But also his speeed is way more noticeable when ozil is on the field. Ozil is such a good passer but also understands space and stages defenders away from Auba. When he’s on the field with Guendouzi and no ozil he never gets put through on breakaways
