I love this channel, and the format. Antonio your regular way of discussing one game is excellent. Changing to a Levi Rosman style of evaluating multiple games quickly is a bad idea! We need time to actually process the action on the board. Old style is perfect, no need to change it up!!!

He would not be able to get both pawns if he sacked the Bishop Alireza would still have a pawn and Bishop and that pawn would get through with help from the King and Bishop

The bar tells you the engine's opinion of the position, but only analysing moves gives a human interpretation. It's humans playing, not engines. If you don't understand why the engine gives it's evaluation, what value does it have, really?

Who doesnt? Other GMs are not under pressure as they dont mind losing to him but alireza feels the peessure as he and everybody in chess world knows that he probably will be the one to take him down so it makes the whole thing much more stressful but i think he is getting better and better(as ofc magnus is slowly but surely and sadly declining)

@@mandyrarsh7137 this doesn't mean he's declining. Decline means when a player significantly loses most of his sharpness. Magnus on the other hand still wins 90% of the tournaments he plays in. And I don't think alireza will take Magnus place. He's close to him in speed chess but nowhere near as good as Magnus

10:50 Levon could have played Rh2 which is a much better attempt than sacking the exchange to then lose a bishop for a pawn. Levon is still down a queen for a rook, but it's a better position than Nelson gave it credit for.

I dont think you will read this but i just wanna say that when i first found this channel, i fell in love with the content bc of your historic sagas, great games from the past from great players, sometimes from unknown players, interesting storylines and chess history in general with some modern gems sprinkled in. But now you seem to have completely abandoned what made your channel "unique". Now its just analyzing blunderfest of rapid/blitz games or some unimpressive games of magnus, nodierbek, arjun etc that will be irrelevant in few years time unlike the legendary games like rashid losing to hippo, tal's knight puzzle, immortal zugzwang, octopus knight etc. There are so many stories to be told about legends of the past instead we get alireza beating aronian in an inconsequential and honestly, an unimpressive game if we consider the grand scheme of things. This is not the channel i fell in love with, your "uniqueness" is lost. If i wanted to know what happened in round 6 of olympiad, there are dozens of channel i can go watch, your channel used to have a perfect mix of historic games and modern games, now it doesn't. Thank you.

These happen to be the most relevant games of the day actually and just about every other you tuber are also recapping them because it’s a major tournament don’t blame Agadmator he’s keeping up with whatever happens to be happening on the GM Chess Scene yes you don’t like Blitz rapid etc but a lot of people do and many will be watching Alireza vs Magnus today I mean you should try using common sense if there is a SpeedChess tournament going on than Agadmator should just show some Classical game out the blue ? It doesn’t work like that have patience there will be more classical GM games to watch again

Completely disagree, I love Agadmator's style of recapping games, I come here for the analysis and that's what I've been getting for the past 6 years. The quality has only gotten better, and there is still a mix of old and new games, simply there is more new (online) chess events happening now than in 2018. And I'm here for it - more top tier chess!

As a long time subscriber, part of the magic of this channel has always been the storylines and narratives as told through agadmator's perspective. His ability to take a game from 7 minutes (or 170 years) ago and make it thrilling is why I keep coming back. The eval bar eliminates the mystery, like reading the last page of the book first.
