What does one say about Tal? I honestly believe if anyone says they understand a Tal sacrificial game they are either delusional or lying. Tal played because he saw the patterns without thought, to try to understand that would be able to play exactly like him which will never happen. That is his magic, his ability to see while others calculate.

I really like how tal was able to see "Simple" checkmates and make a amusing path to that. By "simple" I mean, Rook + Queen/Bishop
@LSpiro6 жыл бұрын
While watching I try to test my "strategy" (long-term plans) and positional intuition. After Tal did Rac1 (7:27), I immediately looked at Rc8 as a counter and then decided it would not end well since White's Rook and Queen would both be eyeing it if the C file ever did clear up. My preferred move there was Rd8, or possibly Re8, and in the end it turned out those would have been much better moves. One of many reasons I enjoy the channel is because I can challenge myself with many positions, as they appear, to see if I can guess the best moves, and it is more fun since I am able to see a lot of progress.
