Joon, this reminds me of the scene in Spaceballs where there is a video rental machine that has a complete video of the movie. The video machine is named Mr. Video, which is a play on the instant coffee brewer Mr. Coffee.

Time travel is not like that. It requires lots of mass or energy, like our sun or our galaxy. And we aint going no place except into the black hole that ate up our galaxy a long, long time ago. Don't worry though, you can watch the whole thing as space observers are already beginning to see waves out there as another galaxy collides with ours. But that was also a long, long time ago.

@@joonpak lol understandable, but even the smallest and seemingly inconsequential actions can have monumental changes onto the future. The Butterfly Effect. You cannot predict an equation's outcome if you don't know all the variables and how they work. Even if you go back in time and make no changes to personal life decisions or other non money decisions, your life and the world around you could be completely different. "If you don't take risks, you don't drink champagne" is actually a well-known Russian (or Soviet) saying. Same as "Pulling a hippo from a swamp", that Agadmator mentioned in one of the Tal videos. Though I thought it came from the war with Napoleon, which would be pretty much natural, it is really considered to come from Formula 1 races. And here's how the story goes, or so they say. In 1930s there was a race in Reims, located in Champagne province. Count Frederic Chandon presented a bottle to the winner of French Formula 1 Grand Prix. The organizers liked the idea and so it became a tradition. Though those times they didn't spray it out still until 1967 Le Mans series by Dan Gurney upgraded the celebration. You never know where Agadmator video may lead you to.

8:57 -- Even though Magnus might seem not too bad off with a rook versus a bishop and two pawns here, the engine smells something rotten, and is granting Black a dominating -3.5 after only moderate depth analysis. (Ding's best follow-up is actually not to trade his queen for Magnus' two rooks, but to, after Rc1, play Bc6. But, as is stated, he only needs a draw, so clearing all the pieces off the board immediately is the best strategy.)

If Nxe4 then Re4 attacks the knight. If black responds Nf6 retreating the knight then Nxe5 wins the pawn back. If black defense the knight with d5 or f5, that is an option, but those are pretty committed moves that open up your center a bit much. It's an acceptable variation, since black is up a pawn in exchange for a weaker pawn structure, but since Ding was playing for a draw, it makes sense to choose the more conservative variation. There was no need to be aggressive as black.

@@user-dw4dq1if1m Bro we are talking the recent events only. Before that Magnus has only one classical win and a lot of wins in rapid and blitz

A L Magnus destroyed Ding in both rapid and blitz before this match which is why everyone thought that it was going to be an uphill battle for Ding.

So what about queen to b8 check? can't it be a useful resource?

It’s reasonable to say Magnus can be as cocky as they come, but i have lots of respect for him because he can easily show genuine sportsmanship to someone like Ding when they play so brilliantly. Truly a nice game for the both of them and quite the victory for Ding.
