I still have been doing my best to continue to refine my singing voice (and oh gosh I just realized this is my old KZbin account that I have to stay signed into on this browser for work) but, I feel like even though she has that same effect on me in just finding confidence with my voice, I still find myself feeling a need to really make sure my voice, speaking and singing is still "cis-passable" I'll probably never be able to actually sing more than the lower half of the alto range as I can now. And soprano... hah... I'll just be happy to be able to sing full alto at this point. But, being only 22 really helps, since my voice hasn't had so many decades to develop like older trans women.

Your voice is such a flexible thing, if you put some effort into changing it you'll be surprised about the difference you can make. It's different for everyone but on average I'd say it takes about a year of training for a voice to start sounding "cis passable"
