Ok so I have to say a few things: 1) I love the song and the video has such a great artistic quality that it really helps drive home the power of the lyrics. 2) Dan and Will are slaying! Like wow you guys were modeling! 3) Chrissy had such cute outfits and her hair was so 👌 great! Her dancing was also so fun and I had to dance too 4) I really enjoyed the camera and mirror usage. The editing involving the lines and art made the video that much more fun. This video overall was just a great experience :) thank you

The other 2 singles were about a very toxic past relationship in which she almost basically left them in the dust which is why they werent really in those videos as much. In this one she is talking about mental health issues essentially self doubt, depression and anxiety telling her that she can't do this and that no one wants you around no more. I don't understand how people can call this mainstream pop. Sure, it's not as heavy on electric guitars as Running With The Wild Things, but Forget Me Now was probably more mainstream than this, and Chasing Ghosts wasn't too far off either. Voices is probably the least pop-like song released so far as a single, and Personal the most pop. This isn't quite on the level of Paramore's "Still Into You" to "Hard Times" massive transition of sound, so far heavy drums and electronic guitar are still pretty prominent, I haven't heard any major acoustic or electronic effects apart from Personal. All in all, it's not too big a deviation from what they were doing before. Sure, the production is a lot slicker and toned down, but ATC hasn't completely changed. This is a bit more like 5SOS changing from She's Kinda Hot to Youngblood, obviously different, but not a complete turnaround, with just enough rock to be easily differentiated from most of its contemporary counterparts

Friend, "Forget Me Now" is much more energetic than "Voices" and the others in Past Lives. The problem is not just because it's Pop, it's that the new songs have no energy, weight in the instruments ... it has no potential. This is the same mistake made by Paramore in After Laughter. This pop "without salt", should have been forgotten long ago by the bands!

The album "In Our Bones" is excellent ... great combinations of genres, good atmosphere, pleasant lyrics, also bearing in mind that in "In Our Bones" you can consider that it is a group work (band), unlike this "Past Lives" that most seem to be a project by Chrissy Costanza; and only hers. In "Past Lives", reviewing the album, the only song I really saved is "Strangers Again", because the atmosphere of music with Synthpop is interesting, apart from it; particularly, the album itself is a disaster.

Why does this feel "different" than the other music videos? Like I dont feel the same things i felt watching their other mvs. Dont get me wrong, it sounds good but i just cant seem to find the feeling of being drawn into the video. Chrissy is just dancing around while the others are not doing anything. Seems moderate and mundane.

Dan and Will just standing around while Chrissy is dancing around I think is meant to represent how Chrissy feels tortured due to her voices but nobody else notices or doesn't seem to care, it's why they just stand there and push past there while she's clearly doing something. at least, thats what I think
