He took all the laughs and ironic jokes with such natural calmness, and didn`t change for a bit trying to pretend something or someone else. No harm. I was so into the voice that I ignored the guitar. Listened again! Damn I love the way he plays that guitar as well.

I'm still waiting for that one person who gets judged/laughed at, then sings like one of the greatest and everyone is cheering for him/her and then he says "Screw you guys!"

TooDamnRight If he did that then what will be the difference between him and those dickheads laughing at him. You dont need to be rude to show that you are superior or have won bc thats how you exactly lose!

Damn, gave me those feels. He really sang from his heart and I loved it. Sad how the judges and people make fun of him when he enters, yet he gives a lovely heart warming performance. Wow.

+Anonymous_downToZero It was around the fourth time I heard this that I realized that he hadn't written the words. That's how impressed I was with his sincerity.

I'm so sick of judges on shows like this doing crap like that. Laughing at him because of his accent, job, and clothes. Not everyone can become a journalist *cough* Piers *cough* or just marry someone who became successful and go from there *cough* Sharon *cough*. Maybe those are the clothes he likes and is comfortable wearing, and/or that's just what he can afford? If he's living, and in a way that he likes, then he must have worked hard at his job and be proud of what he did. He's not ashamed of being a chicken catcher, and shouldn't be. You'd think they would stop doing things like that, because like Piers said, There's always that one person they laugh at who turns out to be amazing. After shows like this have resulted in people like Kevin, Susan Boyle, and Prince Poppycock, it might be time to get off the high horse and give someone a chance rather than laugh in their face because of their appearance.

WOW !!!!!!!!!! I was skeptical at first cause no one can touch Garth on this powerful song. I was wrong, Kevin Skinner completely nailed it with his honest rendition, and such a down to earth intelligent man, hope he went far, he sure has the talent.

And more grotesque prejudices, and there, he throws us the most beautiful version of this song, with an incredible voice... a great lesson!

I absolutely love Kevin Skinner's down to earth Country Voice. He has such a beautiful and gentle God given soul and as he starts to sing you begin to realize you are set in a powerful and mesmerizing trance as you hang on to each and every note that is sung. There is a genuine honesty about him that will simply melt your heart away and I want to thank him for the gift that he so willingly shares with the world.
