This was so exciting. Thanks for taking us along for the ride. 👍 My favourite was the second to last one, it reminds me of the blue mussels we get all along the coast here in Denmark. Don't know if you have those across the pond, but they have a little bit of white nacre on the inside, and beautiful bands of blue radiating out. The quarts and the agate bands along with the shape of the stone looked so much like them.

If I weren’t 83years old with arthritic fingers I’d go out and buy myself one of those lapidary saws and learn to use it. You have certainly inspired me with all your beautiful and exciting agates and other gem stones. Thank you again!

We in inherited a bushel basket full of agates (L.S.A., Thunder eggs, moss) I like seeing you cut them open, maybe a video on more explanation on where and why you made/make a cut in what direction. Thanks for all your videos - long time subscriber.

First time viewer and now subscriber! I think the best part of your videos is your outstanding and enthusiastic response to every agate you open! It's great and absolutely noticeable that it is heartfelt. I react the same way when I find one of mother nature's beauties. Agates and geodes just leave me in total state of awe. To know that some of these rocks and gems have been on the earth for hundreds and thousands of years...blows my mind! I live in Oregon and frequent the rivers of Washington. I take every opportunity I can to do a little hounding. Thanks for sharing yours and others finds!

🎺Toot your own horn, Agate Dad! 🎺 You are excellent in determining the direction of the cut. This is why people send you their agates. If they are anything like me, I’m terrified on how to determine a cut but you my friend, understand the banding and how it runs, so therefore you are the go to guy to cut folks precious finds. 🎺TOOT, TOOT! 🎺☺️
