Beautiful rocks. I live in New Mexico and I tumble mainly Agate and petrified wood. I enjoy looking at other peoples tumbled rocks. Yours are exceptionally beautiful. Congrats and thank you for sharing.

Yes! These are amazing! thanks for showing, it seems your getting better results each time with the vibe tumbler now. I love all the different rocks you tumbled and the saddle mountain wood looks awesome. Its cool because cypress has been extinct in the northwest for a VERY long time, so you have a nice piece of history in those!
@mitchgillilan3 жыл бұрын
I get really attached to my rocks i tumble too. I remember where I found each and every one, its weird how I remember that! I remember your purdy spit shadow agate when you found it on camera, that was really cool to see it cut and polished, it looks amazing!!

That's so cool you remember too! And remember me finding that one. It's hard to forget for me too... I get so excited when I find them that it leaves an imprint. I know you feel me! 😄

I don't mind at all! But did you know there is numerous Saddle Mountains? Blew my mind when researching. The Saddle Mt my grandpa and I went to is in Eastern Washington... Near Ellensburg

What a great shine!! Gorgeous work!! Question, what is the large stone in the background...on the left...blue, green and orange? I have some smaller pieces but I haven’t been able to find the name
@MarlainaAtkins3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! That stone is called labradorite. It's my most favorite of all stones. That's awesome you have some too! 💚💙💛💜

@@MarlainaAtkins That was one of the stones I thought it was. But yours is the first I’ve seen with the orange in it. My pieces are smaller but very colourful. I have some ready to polish

@@rockinwitht9948 ooooooooooooo.... (rubbing hands together!) Hope they turn out great! Labradorite most commonly comes in blues, greens and gold/yellow... But the more rarer ones have orange, purple and pink too😁 ✨💙💚💛💜✨

Is there a site to order these materials?
@MarlainaAtkins3 жыл бұрын
You can order many stones from the internet... Endless suppliers. EBay has a ton of dealers selling material. There are sites like therockshed.com that you can buy from too. Look up rock shops near you and you may find one you can go to and check out the material in person.

that last piece that you showed...looked to me it had silver in it

I think it's a manganese oxide or hematite inclusion that gives a beautiful metallic finish when polished. I love that stone!
