My guess about why Teen got thrown compared to everyone else getting burned is because the curse demon only affects female witches. If you look closely, the demon looks more womanly in appearance, so it is affecting everyone differently. Alice mentioned in episode 3 that her mom thought all the women in her family were cursed. Since Teen is not a female witch or a part of the coven, the curse demon had to find another way to screw with him.

The curse sits on their shoulder, when the curse came off Alice she felt lighter, it sat on them and they started to burn, so maybe you're right, it couldn't sit on teen because he's not female or maybe he's still not in the coven but they want us to think he's in the coven

And why Rio wasn't affected by the curse at all because she's the Mistress of Death itself. She's basically immune to everything on the road.

it wasn't until this rewatch that it hit me... what if Rio flew him across the room in retaliation against Agatha's move with the PA system? Wind powers seem to be in her wheelhouse and it would make sense as to why Teen wasn't burned. She tried to take his body.

This episode was amazing! I’m not super familiar with all the lore, but it’s so cool that Rio is an earth witch-makes total sense with the bodies being buried. She’s basically Lady Death! I also love the whole thing with Agatha being in love with Death, and it’s mutual! It totally works when you think about it. Death is obsessed with Agatha because she’s constantly feeding her, killing off all the witches around her and feeding them to the earth! Crazy dynamic!

I honestly think it could be Rio who threw teen away. It was literally the SAME as how Agatha got thrown onto the wall in episode one.

Yes exactly, he should’ve burned like the rest if he was being affected, but he’s not part of the coven and not a woman, but Rio knows that Agatha cares about him and I think she’s jealous, so she tested the waters by hurting him to see how Agatha would respond

Also, when in the booth she said that she was getting impatient and wanted to cause some damage while also being curious about why Agatha brought Teen along. It seemed like she pushed that button and got her answer after seeing Agatha's reaction to seeing Teen hurt that Agatha was projecting on Teen that he was her son.

My assumption is that Nicholas Scratch being traded for the Darkhold was a trick that Mephisto played on Agatha. Rio is Lady Death, and she had to take Nicholas' body/soul to Mephisto. Despite her loving Agatha, she was the one who took her child away.

The curse couldn't burn Teen (given Lorna's lines about the women in the family, I think it can only burn up women?), but still has physical form. Remember Alice's line? She didn't just FEEL lighter, she was literally no longer carrying that thing around on her. So it just grabbed him and tossed, as it had no way to hurt him personally, I think.

Okay, You guys are spot on questioning who threw 'Teen' through the glass window. It wasn't the demon. The demon burns its victims and lights them on fire. But there is another in the group who could have done it. So, who did? Who possesses the ability to push people around with an invisible force. Hint: We've already seen it happen in the show by this character. The next question is why? There is a reason why Agatha pleaded 'Don't' to save 'Teen'. Why did this character attack 'Teen' or seem to want him dead? Take a look at Joe Locke's end credit, it reads "Near Death in Westview'. If you freeze frame to the bottom of the credit, it gives a significant date to when the accident happened. That date coincides with an event in the MCU regarding Westview. Another question would be, was it a near-death experience or did 'Teen' actually die in the accident? If so, how is he alive right now? And what does it mean, for the person who attacked him?

@MACReact, 17:24 Agatha is the one who made the deal for the Dark Hold, not Rio. Agatha traded her son for it. I'm not sure why Agatha wanted it, maybe that'll come out in this series, but once she had it, she wasn't herself in the same way Wanda wasn't. The Dark Hold corrupts the user, as we saw with Wanda, Doctor Strange, and Sinister Strange (the variant trapped perpetual incursion). I'm not saying Rio wasn't involved--she might have been. All I'm saying is, that it was Agatha who doomed her son; that's on her. Could it be that Agatha wanted Wanda's power because it was the only power out there to undo what she had done? Wanda has the ability to warp reality. Agatha could have made a reality in which she was with her son. Why does Rio know that Teen isn't Agatha's son? Might it be because her boss is Nicholas Scratch, Agatha's son? The MCU often does its own thing, but it is still rooted in lore. Nicholas Scratch fathered the Salem Seven in the comics. I don't think that'll be the case in the MCU given that the witches are all different ethnicities, but that doesn't mean Nicholas couldn't have formed them. Is Nicholas out to get the woman who doomed him? In the comics, Nicholas Scratch is beholden to Dormammu, the being we were introduced to at the end of the first Doctor Strange movie, but I don't think that's going to be the case in the MCU. I think he's beholden to Mephisto; he was likely the keeper of the Dark Hold in the MCU. I can't wait to see what happens next. Agatha's trial will surely be the final one; she's going to have to learn to trust others and become a full member of a coven. We are four stories end and two trials down. We still have five episodes to go--episodes 8 and nine both drop on 10/30, so a two-part finale. Jen and Alices' trials are over, so that leaves us with Lilia, who's probably next followed by Rio since she's standing in for Mrs. Davis/Heart. Those two witches get us to episode 6 leaving us with the final three. Will the Teen be given a trial leading us to the two-part season finale?

it's quite obvious about her identity if anyone try to observe Agatha-Rio conversation without spoiler earlier this week. but since the spoiler is released in this week and disney didnt mind it, i think it's intentional. it's like we had already speculated Agatha before the reveal, but the question then was about her role in Wandavision. I think it's similar with Rio and Teen's identities. It's more like what are their function to the stories rather than character reveals. i mean her Tarot card and 'vidal' before second trailer release months ago already pointed out

Agatha wanted the dark hold - the price 'being 'someone you loved' Maybe agatha was unknowingly pregnant and didn't feel as though there was someome she loves (after breaking up with rio ) therfore the price to pay was nothing especially if she was truly 'evil' .. However , I'n exchange for the darkhold the cost would be the life of the unknown child of which she would come to love and name nicholas scratch and perhaps rio had to take it. Which is why agatha hates her so much because rio denied the one true thing she may have always wanted.

Rio is Lady Death, that's why she takes bodies and Agatha told her not to take the Teen (Wanda's boy Billy/Wiccan) who was almost dead. She presumably took Agatha's dead son Nicholas Scratch to wherever to exchange for the Dark Hold.
