One detail I liked that wasnt mentioned in this is when Lilia asks the Teen whats on the back of the Ouija board box and he replies something along the lines of "it says its for ages three and up". Billy was born/made in Wandavision in 2021, which would technically make him three years old in this.

Wiccan doesn't just blast Agatha down into the mud himself and takes over the two witches to physically put Agatha in the mud because he instinctively knows that if he uses his magic on her directly she can/will absorb it and kill him like she did Alice.

I don't think Jennifer's trauma was from being bound. Instead, the trauma was being attacked by a man who she originally thought was there to learn maternity skills from her. So she's bound by her trauma and not traumatized from being bound. This is why when they're sitting around the fire previously she doesn't know/understand how she was bound by someone who wasn't practicing magic. She's the magic user who bound herself. He was the abuser who caused the trauma. It's emblematic of how many of us bind ourselves after traumatic events with self-sabotage, feeling guilt or shame, abandonment issues or any of the many other forms of trauma response humans can feel.

My theory is that Billy put the Sigil on himself. In episode 4, Agatha stated that the witch who places a sigil won't remember that they did, I'm thinking Billy did it to himself, to protect himself and his identity. Because we know from trailer clips that he was doing heavy research on Agatha. I think he would have known the majority of Agatha's story, before going to find her. He's shown he's pretty smart, so I think he was playing dumb the entire time; cause he has seemed to know a lot more than he let on in the episodes prior to this one. I don't think he's on the road to gain more power, because he really doesn't need it. I honestly think he's either there to find Wanda or even Tommy.

So I'm guessing that the Sigil was preventing Agatha from recognizing Billy, and her subconscious projected her son on him instead? It seems the reveal that Nicholas is still dead dispelled the Sigil and Agatha can now suddenly see Billy for who he really is.

Except Rio DOES look like the grim reaper. Her first appearance she’s wearing a hood and her knife even resembles a scythe. During the 70’s task she’s once again wearing a hood. Aside from being a skeleton, the grim reapers most noticeable attributes are a hooded shroud and scythe. Death has also taken a female human form several times in the comics.

A theory I saw is that this is actually Lilia's trial and this episode was all a premonition. It would make sense since it seems like 4 main characters died in this episode. Her trial is to prevent that from happening.

Yes a detail that no one seems to talk about is that in the credits all the main cast is shown one by one but then it ends by saying "with" and then the names of the actresses for lilia, sharon and rio. Rio makes sense because she's not in all the episodes, and sharon dies in episode 2. So since the beginning I thought lilia was the next to die. If Alice was dead halfway in the season wouldn't she be the one to get credited like that?

I think the 3 in Agatha's jersey is to symbolize her Tarot card. And Billy's sigil wasn't destroyed yet. The scene only implied that Nicholas Scratch was NOT his name. The Tower card, which is Billy's Tarot (along with the magician?), may not mean Lilia or Jen. I think the falling people are him and Tommy's souls who 'fell into an abyss' when Wanda 'killed herself' in Wundagore.

I think Agatha's costume was more a reference to Poltergeist . JoBeth's Diane Freeling character wearing a sports jersey just before she's chased up the wall and across the ceiling in that scene. That was also a style for women to wear a sports jersey to bed like a night shirt in the 70s and 80s. Also points earned for crimping her hair.

A lot of people are saying that Agatha realized that Teen is Wanda's son... however, upon rewatching it... after she tells him, 'You're like your mother' and when they grab her and start dragging her away, she calls him "Teen". So why wouldn't she call him Billy IF she knew it was Billy? You mentioned about the sigil being broken, however, he didn't 'realize' his powers until AFTER they exited the house. So him being able to say Nicholas Scratch before the sigil was lifted (if it ever was) shows that he is not Nicholas. Further, as I mentioned above, Agatha still called him "Teen" after his powers started to manifest.

You missed an egg. ;) When Lillian calls Teen "kiddo" it's a call back to the Sondheim musical "Company" where the character Joanne refers to the main character as "kiddo" on several occasions. And Patti LuPone has played the role of Joanne in three different stagings, in 2011, 2018 and 2021.

I think the show will adapt the first origin of Wiccan in the comics, where he encounters Wanda by chance and complains to her about his bullies, then she boops his nose and gives him his powers. I actually think we never saw much of Tommy's past in the comics because he was created at that moment, to complement Wanda's delusion of having twins. Maybe in the show she saves him from the car crash in eastview that's being mentioned at times.

It was right before Avengers Disassambled, so she probably didn't even realize exactly she did. She just felt pity for a random boy named Billy and her powers did the rest.

I don't think it's a real trial, it seems very off. Perhaps the bee witch cast an illusion, but from what I've seen there's footage in trailers that clearly show everyone still alive after this. So, I think it may have been a misdirect, making us think it was Agatha's trial when in fact the Salem Seven were focused on awakening Wiccan to use him against Agatha.

I think by "born evil" her mother means her auto pilot syphoning ability. Its a scary ability, and no one seems to know or understand it. Maybe her mom found out trying to put a protection on her, but Agatha even as newborn started syphoning and she just tossed her away stopping it cause she only a newborn, but of course her mom deemed her evil as result. And thats followed her for life. Her own mothen then her coven all branded her evil instead of embracing an teaching her and accepting her like a coven should a young witch.

I think the next episode will be in the labratory/prison type place and will be underneath the cabin and the mud like the movie Cabin in the Woods. They will be saved by Rio reaching down and pulling them out like a reverse of the movie which ends with the god-hand bursting up from the ground. I think Billy is not reincarnated but dream walking or possessing BK's body. With the car accident there was two airbags and blood in the backseat. I think the car accident happened because of the chaos of people escaping when Wanda took down the Hex. The airbags saved his parents, but Billy Kaplan was killed. When the hex was gone, I think Billy M.'s soul went into the nearest dead body that fit him. As Rio said, magic took the path of least resistance. He needed magic to get his family back together but didn't want Agatha or the Sorcerer Supreme (really any witch) to stop him or reverse it. Then he put the Sigil on himself and went to Agatha to take him on the road, where he could gain the magic needed to put his real family back together. By the way, the boy who pleaded to save Sparky was Tommy not Billy...

Pretty obvious to me... Car accident nearby when Wanda raises the Hex. Agatha convinces her to try to create life. Wanda zubconsciously grabs 2 nearby souls...Billy & Tommy. When she drops the Hex, she sends them back where they belong. Remember...she thanks them for letting her be their mother as the Hex fades.

Finally!!! I have been waiting for you all day!!! I think that this trial is not over. I really think that they are all having hallucinations. And these hallucinations will continue to the next episode where Rio will appear on top of the house, the house explodes etc. We will see that there will be a scene with Agatha and Teen having their heads on each other. So their relationship will definitely continue and the coven will still have that trial in a castle. More proof that their relationships will continue. Agatha’s worst fear was her mum and being left out by her coven. Teen’s was losing people he cared for, and others being cruel. So I think this trial could be broken into two hallucinations so far. The way that people were acting in this episode was very strange and I certainly think it’s all hallucinations. Billy’s hallucination was definitely in the end because he is the only one who knows about his own power

Billy seemed completely in control and powerful. He broke the spell over Agatha and I think he's been playing us the whole time. My original theory is that Billy is an agent of Mephisto who will eventually break free and become a hero. But I watched the reveal a million times reading the micro expressions. When Agatha mentioned his mother his lip quivers showing sadness. I'm curious if Billy hates witches and has always blamed them and has simply been using them to take the easy street down the road. All in all, this series is finally getting good.

The sigil broke because Billy said Nicholas Scratch and the sigil didn’t censor him, so Agatha pieced it together. Then when she identified him, it unlocked his powers and memories and he awakened as Wiccan since there was no need to hide who he was anymore. It was also Agatha’s punishment knowing that her hope was for naught and her son was truly gone which was why they passed the trial

To be totally honest, I've thought he was Billy this whole time, like most of us have. However, I was sorta underwhelmed by the reveal. They spent several episodes hanging us on the Scratch thing, then they went from Agatha taunting him about Wanda to him straight up showing us that he's Wiccan within seconds? There was no tension or like clever hints left, it just was kinda suddenly oh hi Billy
